I found this one difficult to make because there were some lines that stumped me somewhat. Initially I wanted to make it both from Dev and Radhika's perspective even though the voice is only of female's. But then once I saw your list of songs for Dev, I decided to make it only from Radhika's point of view. So here is my interpretation of lyrics.

Thanks Angie ...beautifully done. You might have found it difficult but you did make it so congratulations for that. Although the voice is that of a female singer but the lyrics can go for both Dev and Radhika. So I was kind of curious as to from whose perspective are you going to show it. I likedyour choice...because I got to see sombre and serious Dev, with a little bit of mischieviousness and innocence thrown in..which to me is what Dev in CB2 is about. He knows how to have fun but life has given him less oppurtunities to smile and have fun. I also liked it because similar to Rajsri I prefer Avinash in serious roles.

Angie beautiful video, i really feel angry as i am watching your videos , with the concerned people ..i really pity them for their personal gains they killed a good show which has potential to become emotionally charged drama ..Thank you Angie for highlighting the best scenes with Dev Radhika,s chemistry ...I am really surprised how you are bringing the small scenes , packed with emotions ...Angie ,there are two songs from Mamta , chhupa lo yoon dil mein pyar mera ...its just 2minuted song and another is rahen na rahen hum ...i know ,should not be telling you , you yourself have good choice ..

Neerja, the show should finish when there is no story left in it so that it can end on a good note. In this show, there were still lot of stories that were left unexplored - RB family story and mystery of Savitri, Chaya story that should have been there instead of asur/Radha track, Rohan and Virat vs. Dev to snatch his title and status etc. Nothing was explored because they were not interested in Dev for a long time.

So Dev and Radhika's relationship was given importance only for first five months when this is a love story between two soul mates and title was sawre ke sang rachi. All my VMs mostly use scenes from first five month and few scenes from last 9 months because there was so little material on Dev and Radhika where both were missing for five months. When I was making a VM for your song, I had such a hard time finding a morning scene between the two that should be there between a married couple who are so much in love. So I had to make do with whatever was available. That too had to be edited so much because it involved conversation about the third person. CB1 had so many of such scenes that it would have been easier to make it with CB1.

Then I wanted to use the hospital scene where Radhika brings back Dev to life or the scene where Dev publicly acknowledges Radhika as a savior for couple of my VMs. I even downloaded these two episodes, but afer an hour of editing I could not get clean material which involved showing emotions between two at what happened. So I could maybe get couple of still picture but there was not even 30 seconds of video that could be shown with some continuity. There was always somebody else in the frame - either Padma, Dai or Barkha. So an important event where somebody is saved by his soul mate and not even few minutes of a solo scene between the two. Then on top of that, Dev is saying that Radhika moved heaven and earth to save him. But do we still know what he knew about incident. Just as him listening to everything Barkha was saying and doing to Radhika and only coming at the last minute is mystery, so this will remain too.

When I have got scenes of these two in last 9 months, I get angry at creatives for not utilizing actors' talent here because those brief scenes are so good and have such good emotions. If these two were given good material, they could have done wonders. I was reading an interview of somebody from the PH of the show that is currently on top in Zee. The show was not giving desired ratings at that time, but that person said that they would stick with the story and ratings would come. That has happened because they are concentrating on details of leads. So is the top show of SP. The story is not that great but they stick to their script and wait until viewers start liking it again.

So easily CB too could have stuck to RB story and could have made it Dev's redemption track. They could have shown a separation between the two by not using Kanha but instead using Radhika's immense love for Dev where she goes to extremes for him. Then they could have shown Dev's payback by him seeing that Radhika picked up her family over him (for whatever reasons) just as he once did pick his dada over Radhika and trampled her rights. Then they could have easily shown that Dev realizing that Radhika's trust on him is weak because of what he had done to her in the past. Then it could have full circle with Dev showing realization and remorse and doing things to gain Radhika's trust where she could trust once again that she doesn't have to do things alone and that together they can fight much better for their rights. Then the track could have concluded with both Dev and RB making peace with each other and Dev realizing that just as Radhika found her family, he too needs to find his mother.

All of this would have involved both Dev/Radhika as well as other characters of PF. there would have been emotions, drama and everything else that is needed to get high ratings. They could have easily used Padma for a grey saas type character too as well as a resentful step mother of Dev. But really it is useless to say all this now when the show is gone. Plus the creatives never looked critically at their own shortcomings.

Neerja, as far as songs are concerned, don't stop suggesting them. I will make VMs as long as I can make them unique using different scenes. I will stop making them when I run out of scenes. Actually, there are several scenes that are my favorite that I haven't used because either I don't yet have the song for them or I don't want to cut them because they are so good in their entirety.

Misti, the two lines in this song have always been somewhat ambiguous to me - dubi jab dil ki naiya to samne the kinare. I was always wondering if the writer implied that hope was lost just when lifeline was in front or whether when all hopes were lost, there was a lifeline. So didn't know if I wanted to show hopelessness or a ray of hope by showing Radhika pleading to Kanha.

Here I interpreted it that all hopes were dashed even though lifeline (Dev) was within reach because of his refusal to accept Radhika. That's why I started with that sindoor scene where Radhika is offering and gets rejected.

Then I was not sure how to end it. In all the scenes he is walking away from Radhika rejecting her love. In the final scene too, that part was there in the episode. But I decided to end it by showing a stalemate where he is rejecting her but she is standing her ground by refusing to let him reject her because she knows that he loves her too and doesn't want him to sacrifice their lives for some needless obligation. So didn't show him walking away in the end.

Then my dilemma was that I really wanted to show Dev's POV here too as felt that last two stanzas fit him more. But once I saw your list, I decided to use Dev's scenes in one or more of those songs and made it from Radhika's POV entirely.

Then I decided to include that scene in the bedroom where he was abusive to her and walked on her after Barkha succeeded in planting the thought in Dev's head that Radhika was insecure. Of course his own guilt played a big role. So I included the scene where he ties Kanha locket in her neck (Kya vafa ke irade) as that locket tying two times (one in cottage and one in PB) was more like him putting mangalsutra on her. This locket was something personal between the two as both used it as a promise to protect one another. Radhika fulfilled all her promises but Dev broke them all as soon as RP legacy came in between them. So even though in the end they showed him blaming Radhika for his decision to make Barkha RPtain, it was a different scene in the bedroom.

Here he was shouting at her that he would get her rights eventually but she should not expect it at that moment because RP legacy was more important to him. He was actually quite ruthless in this scene and traits of Dada was evident in his behavior. He was actually turning into both Hari and Dada there and would have continued on this path if he hadn't lost Radhika or if Radhika/Kanha hadn't come and shown that indifference to him. Unfortunately, neither this nor his realization that he had ended up treating Radhika the same way his father treated his mother, were ever shown in the show. Again a missed opportunity because Avinash could have done wonders in that remorse track.

Anyway, that's why I showed him tying the locket on her neck in the happy time and then breaking that promise in that bedroom scene and walking away despite her trying to hold him and make him understand. Hence that is the point where he ruthlessly broke his promises to her and left her unprotected. In the process he almost destroyed her and himself as well.

Overall, it was a difficult song for me to make as I wasn't sure for some time on how to interpret this song and connect it to characters of Dev and Radhika. Also I don't enjoy making sad songs even though I like watching sad VMs of CB1. I do like to watch the finished product a day after though.

But I too prefer Avinash in a serious role even though he excels in light scenes and comedy too. Somehow serious roles suit his personality more and he is really brilliant in such scenes.

Myra, thanks. I am open to making a VM on English songs. I can use any song as long as I can understand lyrics in connection with characters of Dev and Radhika and can think of scenes for them. So I made VMs on songs suggested suggested by Misti and Neerja as I could connect them to Dev/Radhika. But I haven't used even some of the songs I personally like as I am not able to fit Dev/Radhika into them at the moment. Everyone has their own imagination and interpretation of songs and characters.

But I prefer suggestions as right now I only have couple of songs in mind - one from Misti's collection and one is my own. So more songs would be better. So feel free to give suggestions about English songs too.

Angie, the songs that are in my mind and think that will suit dev and radhika are Lifehouse-everything And Take That-rule the world..Personally i love both for the lirycs and that good vibe it transmits every time i listen to them..Lirycs remind me lots of radhs nature how dev is her sole reason of living,fighting,laughing,loving..do listen to it..

Friends, another VM. I am making some serious ones from Dev's perspective but couldn't resist myself and I ended up making another more optimistic one first. This is based on "jahan pe savera ho" from the song "Basera".

I have titled it "Dev and Radhika's Haven". It is from both their perspectives where Radhika is giving optimism to Dev and in the end Dev too starts having hope and dreams. Haven means sanctuary or refuge and Dev and Radhika are each other's haven. So I started from Radhika where she thinks of mornings (new beginnings) as related to her basera (Dev) and by the end there is change. There both think that morning or home would be wherever they are together.

I am not sure if this interpretation has come through in the VM as lyrics were difficult to synchronize with scenes. For example had to use rain drops where dew drops (shabnam) were mentioned.

Any criticism or feedback to improve the quality of VMs is welcome.
