Hey guys !! I started another FF , it has 15 parts ( more or less) .Anyone is welcome to read it or not . Its just a FF I wrote a while back and wanted to share with you guys ..

PS: Radhika doesn't know english in this FF😆 so most of it is in written hindi but I put the translation in parenthesis ...But eventually she will learn 😳

Part 1

One lovely morning the Purohits were anticipating for Dev's arrival .He was coming back from Canada after 5 years . He was a very handsome young looking guy , he had very attractive eyes , a charming smile and boyish features . The day he came back everyone were so very excited ! Dadima was the most happiest because she loved her grandson very much . Dev was very glad to be back but he had other plans for his future . He didn't want to stay in India but wanted to get shifted to Canada forever . He really like the life style there and made many friends . He had many affairs with girls but nothing serious , he never ever fell in love and never planned too either . He liked his life the way it was and he was able to deal with the girls but never knew if he can deal with the same woman for his whole life .He barely felt the pain and happiness of his girlfriends , he had no idea how love felt.

One day Dadima wanted to get Dev married and bring a choti bahu in the house , everyone were very delighted to hear this , they all thought it was a great idea even Mrinalni who was very pleased with this because she doesn't want to take all the duties of a daughter in law . When dadima talked to Dev about this he instantly disagreed , Dadima tried talking and convincing him but he just didn't accept this and neither did he want to tell Dadima about his plan because he knew that he will hurt her feelings . It was to early to tell his family about him getting shifted to Canada forever , he knew that it will be very painful for them since his father and vivek wanted him to join their family company . This wasn't what he wanted and decided to take sometime before telling them his plan but when Dadima talked to him about getting married it felt like all his future plan melted away ! He didn't want to live the same woman for his whole life and neither was he convinced that he will ever fall in love with her '
" Dadima Im sorry but I just cant get married !" he said little sternly ..

" dev I promise you I will find a perfect girl for you ..Trust me !!"

" NO !! Please Dadima I don't want to get married ! I just came back from Canada and already trying to get me married!" He huffed frustratingly
" My friends were right they knew that once I came here you would get me married of with some random girl"

"Random girl ? Nahi Dev main tumhare liye ek hira chunungi!" she said excitedly ( No Dev I'm going to choose a special girl for you )

Dev gave Dadima a stern look telling her to stop this!

" Theek hai maat kar shaddi '..Main toh sirf teri khushi chahthi thi." dadima said upsettingly and turned to walk away '( Fine dont get married all i wanted was your happiness )

Dev runs his fingers through his hair taking a deep breath ..He felt a nice breeze in his room an closed his eyes thinking about Dadimas words , all she wanted was his happiness , she did so much for him , she was like his best friend since childhood . If his dad would scold him when he did pranks or had fights at school she would always be there to defend him , whenever he got hurt dadima would always be there for him ..Even his mother. Both Dadima in his mom meant so much for him and they both want him to get married and bring a choti bahu in this house . Dev didn't know what to do , he really wanted to move back to Canada and lived his life the way he wanted . He didn't know what to do 'should he get married for the happiness of the family or pursue what he wants! Dev then looks at the Kanha picture hanged on his wall
" Maybe you have something else planned for me ?"
Dev said pensively staring at the picture lost in some deep thoughts'

The next morning Dev came down wearing a nice white shirt with few upper buttons opened , with black pants. He had his hair back looking very fresh and handsome ..HE sat on the dinner table and glanced at Dadima who was looking away ..it seemed like she was upset on him..Birju tried giving breakfast to Dadima but she refused ..everyone were trying to get her to eat something but she didn't want anything ..
Dev knew exactly what she was up too and decided to announce his decision . Hearing that Dev accepted to get married Dadima jumped joyfully . The whole family were just so excited and delighted to hear such wonderful news ! Dev also smiled , he never saw his family so happy before , he felt good in his heart for saying yes . If this will bring happiness to the family then he will get married . Even though he had no idea how this was going to work once he gets married .

Dadima and Vaishali quickly started looking for a girl for Dev '.They went to Vridavaan and very holy and devotional place , they stayed in their ancestral bhavan for few days . Dadima and Vaishali went to the temple and heard a girl singing the aarti in a very melodious way they both glanced at each other and smiled ..They went to go see the pandit ( shastrijee ) and he was very humble to see the two woman's from the Purohit family ..

He introduced them to his daughter Radhika , she had a cute face , lovely eyes and sweet smile . She was very simple yet very beautiful . Her parents passed away when she was 5 years old and Shashtrijee adopted because Radhika was his sister's daughter . Devki wasn't very pleased having Radhika because she had many qualities that her own daughter Vishaka didn't have. Radhika was much more prettier and was more responsible and smart . Devki never gave her affection only bossed her around ,Shastrijee always took Radhika to the mandir with him after the way he saw Devki treating her . He tried making his wife understand but she would just taunt the poor girl and accuse her of killing her parents ..This always made Radhika cry and she would sit in the mandir for long hours 'when shastrijee was around Devki didn't open her mouth but when he was gone she would always scream at her and sometimes slap her for little mistakes she did. . She even deprived Radhika to go to school and stay home to help her around the house .

Dadima and Vaishali were very glad to meet her , she was very polite and welcoming towards them . When they complemented her singing she folded her hands thanking them . She also told them to come by there house when they get the time , Dadima and Vaishali promised leaving Radhika smile satisfyingly . Shatsrijee was also very pleased with this and backed up Radhika telling them to come this afternoon . He couldn't let them leave Vridavaan without coming by his home.

Vaishali and Dadima went over to shastrijee house in the afternoon and met Devki .
Radhika offered them tea and snacks , Vaishali and Dadima were getting very impressed by Radhika , she had such a sweet smile and took care of everything letting her mother sit down . Devki gave Radhika a stern look as she was giving tea to her 'Seeing this Radhika lowered her gaze and walked away in the kitchen .. She had her hair in a loose braid wearing a simple white shalwar with a light pink duppatta tied to the side .. Vaishali started talking about Dev , she told them about him coming back from Canada few days ago..Radhika wasn't really paying attention just continued her work in the kitchen 'Hearing this Devki started telling them about Vishaka and her studies . Vaishali and Dadima just smiled but they wanted to know more about Radhika 'Dadima called Radhika to join them .When she walked towards them Dadima noticed some dullness in her face ..Radhika glanced at Devki who gave her a stern look 'She sat down hesitantly beside Dadima
" Kya hua beta??"( what happened ?)

"Kuch nahi dadima " she said smiling ..
( Nothing )

Dadima felt very nice hearing her call her Dadima and caressed Radhika head once smiling tenderly

" tumhare mu se Dadima sunkar bohut acha laga muhje .."
(Hearing grandmother from you mouth made me feel very nice )

" Maaji , Radhika sabko apna bohut jaldi banale thi hai " Shastrijee said tenderly '( Radhika makes everyone her own very fast.)

Vaishali and Dadima just smiled warmly , they were just adoring Radhika very much and complemented her ..Devki looked away grimly seeing Radhika smiling shyly hearing all these complements on her and just daggered her eyes on Radhika 'seeing this Radhika felt scared wondering what will happen once they leave '

Vishaka came in wearing a very nice Anarkali with her hair opened with red nail polish looking very stylish 'She just smiled and folded her hands in front of Vaishali and Dadima ..Devki smiled chirpily

" Yeh hai Vishaka 'meri pyari beti'Sab ka bohut khayal rakthi hai"
( this is my wonderful daughter Vishaka )

Vishaka frowns her brows lightly and just smiled wondering why her mother was doing all this praising of her 'After a while Vaishali and Dadima left , feeling like they found the perfect choti bahu '.

Dadima and Vaishali told mr.Purohit about shastrijee daughters and there was one that they both really liked ..Mr.Purohit was very happy that they found a girl for Dev ..he told the ladies that they will go to ask for her hand as soon as possible ..Dev over heard this and hearing that she was from a village he rolled his eyes unbelievably 'but for the happiness of this family he will get married to the girl of their choice '

Dadima came in Devs room and saw him on his lap top doing some work ..She smiled warmly and sat beside him telling him how happy she was today . Dev just smiled lightly and just listened to dadima ..
" Dev ..we met two girls today , there both sisters 'but there's one that me and your mother really think she's the one for you" she trailed of tenderly ..

Dev wasn't very interested and just bobbed his head while Dadima was talking

" But I will tell you both of the girls names and you tell me which one you like" she said teasingly .. "I want to see if my grandson could get the right name of his future wife "

Dev takes a deep sigh running his fingers through his hair not feeling very uninterested ..

" Pehle naam '.Vishaka .." ( First name , Vishaka )
Dev pursed his lips putting his head back against the back rest and looking at the sealing .." Doosra Naam '.Radhika" ( Second name ..Radhika)

Dadima was lost in a trance thinking about Radhika

Hearing this Dev frowns his brows lightly and sat straight 'He felt as if hearing her name made his heart skip a beat ? He shook his head taking this off his head ..no girl ever made his heart beat stop ..and she wont either 'he doesn't believe in all this falling in love he reminded himself !

"Dev??..Kahan kogaya "'Dadima asked little teasingly
( Dev why are you so lost ?)

Dev smiled little impishly "Kuch nahi Dadima 'personally ..I don't like either names '" Dev felt bad lying ..he didn't want dadima to tease him with this ..

Dadima looked a Dev doubtfully
" but I will still say the name ..just to make you happy" ..He took a deep breath and looked at Dadima " Radhika " .

Dadima grinned joyfully and clapped her hand once together " Main jaanthi thi ke tum zarror sahi naam lega !" ( I knew it ! You would take the exact name that was to take)

Dev just chuckled seeing Dadima excitement '
"Dev 'Radhika is a very sweet girl ..and has lovely values in her ."

" hmmm 'Im sure Dadima she very sweet , very nice , very beautiful ..etcetera '" he said sarcastically ' "now can I go to bed ??"

Dadima smiled and walked away wishing him good night '

At Shastrijee house
Devki was sure that Vaishali and Dadima were going to make Vishaka the choti bahu of their house and even told Shastrijee about this ..though he had doubts since no one called them to inform them about it but still Devki was talking about Vishaka becoming their choti bahu '.Hearing this vishaka got very angry and went in her room taking out her frustration to Radhika '.

" Shaant hoja Vishaka 'Tumhari shaddi hone koi buri baat toh nahi hai" she said sweetly " yeh toh khushi ki baat hogi na?'"
( Calm down Vishaka , theres nothing wrong in you getting married , this is something to be happy about)

" Radhika tum yeh foreign ladke ko nahi jaanthi '..Kabhi ek ladki ke saath jevan nahi guzarne chahthe 'Aur nahi unki biwi ko pyar deinge ! ..Agar who Purohit pariwaar muhje apni choti bahu bananei chaheinge '.Main sidah inkaar karoungi !'Kya naam bataya Ma ne ?? Vishaka thought for a second .." Haan ..Dev! 'uska naam hi kehte lagatha hai ke bohut rude or arrogant ladka hoga !" She said huffing annoyed

( Radhika you don't know these foreign boys! They don't want to stay with the same woman there whole life and they wont ever love their wife . If the Purohit family want to make me their daughter in law then I will refuse right away! What name did Mom tell ? Vishiaka thought for a second
Oh Yes ! Dev Just by saying his name he looks very rude and arrogant .)

Radhika didn't quite understand the word rude and arrogant but it seemed like their weren't nice words to say about a person .

" Vishaka ..tuh use kahan mili ke yeh sab kehri hai ??" she asked little amused ( Vishka you didnt even meet him and your saying all this ..)

" trust me Radhika ! Ek baar tuh miligi na ..toh samje gi ke main kya kehri hoon 'Main uske jaise ladke se mil chuki hoon ..aur main abhi kehsakthi hoon ke who muhje kabhie khush nahi rakega! Aur main use shaddi nahi karoongi!..Muhje ek actress bana hai!"
(Turts me Radhika , once you meet him you will know what I'm talking about . I already met so many boys like him and I know he will never keep me happy . And I wont Marry him! I want to become and actress first .)

Radhika take a deep sigh shaking her head ,,
" Vishaka shayad uski shaddi kahin aur hojaye gi ..tuh kyun itna fiquar kari hai." She said soothing Vishaka frustration ..
( Vishaka Maybe he will get married else were , why are you worrying so much ?)

Hearing this vishaka realised that this might never happen to her!
" Tuh sahi kehri hai 'Main kaam main kam pareshaan hori hoon ".She said getting up the bed feeling much better ..
Suddenly she remembered something

" Aree Radhika tuhje mera ek bohut bara kaam karna hoga kaal 'Tuhe yeh mera form post karna hoga '..Who dance classes join karna hai na ..uska inscription hai '.theek hai" Vishaka smiled satisfied and left to comb her hair ..
( RAdhika you have to do something for me tomorrow , you have to post one of my form. I want o join the dance classes..)

Radhika was about to say something and just shakes her head cutely 'Vishaka was like a sister though sometimes she could be very selfish . Radhika and Vishaka had a nice childhood together but sometimes when Shastrijee would get something for Radhika vishaka would cry to have it and Radhika would happily give it to her ..Radhika always got Vishaka handy downs not matter if they were toys clothes accessories and jewelery . Devki didn't want to spend to much on Radhika but Shastrijee did his best to give her what he could afford and Radhika never complained only appreciated.

Meanwhile Shastrijee got a call from Dadima telling them that they would be coming tomorrow to ask for Radhika hand in marriage with Dev ..this made Shastri jee very joyfully and expressed his happiness and thanked Dadima from the bottom of his heart feeling very glad that her daughter will get such a lovely family 'He announced this to Devki who wasn't happy at all , her hopes of getting Vishaka married drained down completely instead they wanted Radhika! Devki knew that this kind of problem will happen if Radhika was part of their family because she was much more beautiful and responsible then Vishaka '.

Radhika came out her room with Vishaka feeling puzzled ..Shatrijee announced that Radhika was chosen to be there choti bahu 'Radhika heart skipped a beat and was totally shocked!! Vishaka jumped of joy knowing that she's wasn't going to get married but Radhika!! She stood there like a statue , was this really what she wanted ?? Everything that Vishaka was saying in the room 'was it all going to be true??'Seeing her father so happy her heart didn't want to refuse '
Devki couldn't believe this !

" Kya yeh anaat ko chuna hai ?? Tum log kyun itna khuch hore ho?? Radhika tumhari asli beti nahi hai! Vishaka hai !! Kaise pita hain aap ?? Kya apke saagi beti Radhika se zada kehmti nahi hai ?"
( They chose this orphan ? Why are you guys so happy?? Radhika is not your real daughter ..Vishaka is! What kind of father are you ? Is your own daughter not precious then RAdhika?)

Radhika lowered her head feeling pain in her heart hearing these words and tears started reflecting in her eyes '
" Devki ji " Shastrijee shouted "RAdhika meri hi beti hai! Aur main bohut khush hoon ke Purohit walon ne Radhika ko chuna hai unki choti bahu bane! Aur maine kitni baar aapko samjaya ke Radhika ke saath aisa maat pech aya karein 'Who utni meri beti hai jitni Vishaka!"

( Radhika is my daughter and I'm very happy that the Purohit family chose her . And how many times did I tell you to not behave this way with RAdhika ...She is as much as my daughter like Vishaka)

" Aur Ma Main kabhie Dev se shaddi karne nahi chathi hoon! Main Radhika karliye bohut khush hoon!"
( Mom I would never accept to marry Dev and Im really happy for RAdhika )

" Par betiya tuhje bohut maan samaan milega agar tuh us pariwar ki choti bahu banegi" Devki said sweetly to vishaka trying to make her understand

( But Vishaka you will lots of respect if become their daughter in law )

Vishaka just rolled her eyes " Nahi Ma muhje who sab nahi cheye ! I don't care if that family rich and have lot of money .."

Shastrijee went to Radhika consoling her warmly and asked her if she wanted to get married 'Radhika didn't know what to say but seeing Shastrijee eyes she knew that he was very happy with this and his happiness is her happiness ..She simply nodded avoiding to look at Devki 'This bought Shastrijee smiling relieved and blessed Radhika ..

At night Radhika was laying on her bed wondering how was her husband going to be like ?? She was scared if Vishaka words were true because never really imagined a loving caring husband for herself ..

Dev was on his bed thinking about his marriage ..he wondered if Radhika was the type that could talk back to him or more the quiet one?? One thing he knew was that this girl will never make him fall in love with her ..if no girl did it then how would she ?? He chuckled confidently and closed his eyes going to sleep .

Radhika who jerked at his voice looked at him with her innocent eyes , she saw his phone on the temple stairs and quickly picked it up handing it to him ..

" Shama kardijiye 'who main thodi jaldi main thi .."( I'm sorry .I was in a hurry ) she said apologizing
Dev gave her one angry look but froze seeing such enchanting eyes and saw that she was feeling bad for this ..but still he kept his cold with her

" Next time watch where your walking"

Radhika frowns her brows not understanding a word!

" jee?? Main kuch samjhi nahi " ( What ? ..I dont understand?)

Dev looked at the girl confused expression yet cute

" Tumhe angrezzi nahi athi kya??" he asked unbelievably
( You don't know english?)

Radhika innocently shakes her head

Very lovely start,like radh that she is like radhika from cb1..hmm,waiting to c hw dev will b changed by radhika...

Wow! Billo,was waiting for this FF. Waiting to see how Dev falls madly in love for Radhika & accepts her & changes his decision in leaving India.Thnx for the PM.

I read an FF after such a looong time!!!! I was just free yesterday night and just then saw this FF!! Thanks Billo for this FF...i am eager to read more now. Its been a while, since i have followed any FF...but i am glad to have got an opportunity to read this FF. Lets see how Dev and Radhika adjust to each other and fall in love.

Loved the first part...do continue!! :)
