One thing different in the RPship shown in CB1 and the RPship shown in CB2, is that the rules/methods shown in CB1 was somewhat more progressive than CB1. I mean Dadima of CB1 was a woman with broader mind. Although she was rooted to her grounds, but she didn't mind bending some rules for the welfare of her grandson -- because by doing so she wasn't setting any bad example for the society, because by doing so she wasn't causing any harm to the society...because by doing so she was setting an example for the society. She didn't stop Dev from marrying Rads just because her cast wasn't known...neither did she ever stop Rads from entering in to her home temple, because Rads' wasn't known to be a brahmin! She was a progressive woman who wanted to set good examples in front of the society by letting her grandson who was an RP to marry a girl, whose cast wasn't known. By doing so, she didn't break anyone's heart and she didn't harm anyone in the society but rather her step would help in changing the mindset of the society.

Whereas DDjee of CB2, is a rigid man who doesn't believe in change. He is still stuck to those old rules and believes in staying firm on them, no matter what. Doesn't matter if his grandson breaks off...doesn't matter if Rads' feels shattered...doesn't matter if some other girl's life is brought in to this mess and her life is ruined as well (barkha) What matters is the fact that his honor should remain high in the society! Well, what sort of example is he setting? People in old times may have brought in certain rules, but not necessarily those need to be adhered to even if they are now known to be wrong. Well, adhering to principles is necessary...adhering to dharam is necessary...but will the society be able to break the unnecessary chains by adhering to such principles? Isn't the duty of RP to guide people in to right path? Shouldn't RP ask people to break free of those rules and enlighten them in to the path of knowledge, so that the old unnecessary practices can be stopped?

Dadima and ddji are poles apart cause from my pov dadaji doesnt love dev as dadima did...he is heartless to me,he was sugarcoatet before now that sweet cover is washing away revealing the truself devil...he is narrow minded by his single purpuse imaculate Rjp name...name that is cleaned with the dirth of the sins of ruining so many lifes...And how kn he guide people when he doesnt now to guide his own family...so he knt be an example...not a teacher, not a adviser...

I agree with you, Sia. Rules are made in heaven by God and in our moral life we are guided by his teachings. But in every day life we have other rules, made ??all by people, rules that can be changed or improved from one generation to another, from one government to another. Dadaji is a die-hard conservative, who does not want to change anything and not be guided by thine heart. Maybe he no really loved a woman in his life, and therefore does not understand that this feeling is supreme and can change for the better any situation.

Ohh Sia..dear you made me go back the sweet memory lane of CB1..Dev_Dadi..ummm.

Yes i use to like Dadis broad view on any such issues and she always supported teh truth. she wanted best for her loving GS😳👏 and even rebuked him for bringing Vish back. She was some lady who made her own rules and not necessarily followed old set of rules.

but here RP is single mindedly thinking abt his position without even considering its consequences. all he wants is his name his paramaras. what he does not know that these rules are makde by society for its convenience and can be broken per demand of the situation. No rule is bigger from any human being..and those in power (like RP😡) often quote rules for their helplessness or inaction whereas truth is its some vested interest that doe not let them change/break such old rules or traditions..for RP it his name/pride here

agree with you sia 100% dadima in cb1 was not selfish but she cared for the family member's feelings first before society whereas in cb2 dadaji is hell bent to destroy the feeling of the family member's for the name of society...i guess cb1 was more modern type Rpji while cb2 is olden age rpji!!!!!

Sia this dada or RP does not actualy care for the society and its rule...all he cares for is his image...if he cared for the society and its rules then he would not have forced his already married son to get married again...it is ok for him if he breaks or bends the rules for what he wants but not ok for him if someone else does the same.

very well said sia
u made me remember the scene of phaldaan rasam where dadi said to vaishali 'by saying such words to maintain dharam or to not marry rads due to lower cast ,u are insulting our ancestors' bcoz they all used to break those which do injustice with people.

here vaishali is replaced by dadaji and dadi by padma, but difference is dadi overruled vaishali there but here its not possible by padma.

Ya Dev's dadima was unque infak i loved her more than DDG coz it true that DDG should try changing people view i think he should behave more modernly infact he should nhave explained the villagers what happen really and y was radhika pretending to be rohan wife and wat did rohan bringing all z truth out but he simply used the word dharma and accepting wat public is telling without thinking that he is infak destroying 3 lives
