I felt today was a pretty good episode.
Dev is starting to believe in childhood marriage and Barkha is putting her plan in action. Not a bad episode for me

Great takes everyone on today's episode
I have no respect for RP, he is a coldhearted man who cares nothing about his grandson's happiness. He has shown no respect towards Dev or Radhika, the two that fought for him he is now shattering their dreams for his selfish gain. The fact he couldn't even wait a few days just shows how stone hearted he is. Poor Dev it must feel like a knife going through his heart first he loses his love then he sees how little his grandfather cares about him
I liked Radhika's scene but I wish she would stop being so stubborn she is not fooling anyone by trying to avoid Dev or trying to break the bond between them. She can't even look Dev in the eyes because she knows what she is saying are a bunch of lies. I really hate that she is shown making sacrifices for someone who easily betrayed her trust. It wasn't worth it
I know Barkha is not a favorite here which is understandable given the way she has been propped up and having Radhika be shown in a bad light but I believe she does have a plan. Barkha fought for Dev and Radhika to be a couple, she gave them a place to stay and is currently holding Rohan hostage so her best friends could get married. I just can't see Barkha going through with this marriage, I believe she has her mother in on her plans to get Radhika and Dev married. She probably figures this is the only way since Radhika is being shown so stubborn

Thanks .😉

At the start of the epi i felt that dev was treated like a plant at the market...sold by a evil old man and getting bought by some nut case "barkha" who does know how to care for it (she herself said she doesnt know how to love) ,he didnt speak anything,
just glared and walked away 😕 ...Barkha has no clue regarding love...she is too obsessed about controlling others life...andI liked Dev walking away in anger...why waste time on Barkha...he went for Radhika.Of course the heartless rjp kissing the earth that barkha walked on and she playing smth in her head...maybe a mantra to herself:How smart am i, i am gonna get the two dumbos married, what matteres that i am complicating things even more...yeh and when Dev and Radhika are not dumb they have issues ...well her and complicating matters will be true to her character..Anyway...here comes my fav part:dev-kanha vs. Radh battle...She was stubborn and didnt want to see gods sings even if dev himself explained to her the whole marriage process, the way She believed in it,how She thought their bond is made by god...Here was his mistake,he didnt admit it himself that they were married, dev my boy to make a marriage it needs two,u were there too...get her to understand that u fully accept her then make a move...But no,he kept rembering the married woman sings, sindoor and that duppata...she tried to untie it but who gave her to undo gods will so she was harshly warned by god but she saved her hubby on time...Powerfull scene here, loved it...I think his main intention was to show her that what she is thinking will not happen...Kanha will not allow it even if she tries her best...and he was successful in that becuase Radhika last reaction was crying and silently saying no...as if she does not want to accept the fact. The last scene , barkhas saga...with riddles in her words and action...she belives she is some superwoman or smth...i guess she has her plans...better be good!Lets see what she does.
Misti,u reminded me abt rohan, i miss him so much, hope he makes a surprise apearence in ME...saying:stop this, barkha is a phsyco, look what she did to me,he knt be rjp-ain... I have been silently hoping for this part..
Anyway, loved avina...these two are worth all the love and apreciation!

Thanks Misti and Angie. As usual, very interesting reading indeed.

What totally frustrates me is that Radhika is so dumbed down again in this whole silly track. She knows she is married, believes it with her whole heart, yet is allowing this sacrifice so Dev can become RP. What about the law? If Dev is already married, then this is bigamy!! Or is it that since this was a child marriage it was not legal anyways...

Am also irritated with the CVs for this whole twist and making Barkha's character like this. Just count days till 21st and hope in the Maha Episode its finally Rads who gets married openly in front of society and we're done with this tamasha.

I knew that you will forgive him...😃...I have accepted Dev and Radhika as they are from the beginning so I am ok with them...I am the more softer one...😳😃😛 I know that about you.😆 In any case, you go for underdogs. Even I liked Dev even during his worst days. My problem was the missing scenes where he was given some monologues. But looking at what is given to Dev since ME, those episodes seem like golden days of CB2.
Actually that is a good point Rohan is the perfect candidate for him...but maybe he thinks that he cannot control Rohan but he can control Dev... Yes, control is the big thing for RP. I liked the point you made yesterday about BB and RP. RP was angry because he lost power to her. Dev does end up caring for such psychotic characters.Yes he is the attraction magnet for them... In CB1, it was only for psychotic women. But here it is both male and female, relative or no relative.
I was ok with the Radhika opening the knot part and Dev challenging her as a means to show the audience that the bond cannot be broken and also that Dev is actively doing something, I was worried that they would show him sitting and moping. Also although Radhika knew that she accepts the childhood marriage but her refusal to Dev was raising red flags in Devs mind...and this way Dev was sure that Radhika has not given him up because she has given up the childhood marriage. That scene was also good for me because of Rubina and Avinash's acting and their chemistry...and this cuttuing of Dev's monologue at the end was again to glorify Barkha.

I was ok with that too. It is just that scene was so incomplete and I would rather have a substantial one where the whole episode is concentrated on Dev and Radhika only. I like any scene of Dev and Radhika especially when artificial characters like Barkha are not part of those scenes. Their chemistry is awesome. These days I am watching it only for Dev and Radhika's characters as well as Mansa's family (same as Seema). Padma is partially fine but rest are caricatures. BB's family has become that and their scene was so unnecessary today. Anyway, my gripe was that it was becoming obvious that Dev is in process of accepting the childhood marriage or at least using it to get back Radhika (he did use Radhika's beliefs to convince her). She is superstitious enough not to try to break off something the way she did in her stubbornness. So that was a good scene.

But it was incomplete because they again cut off Dev's scene. They cut off his scene prior to coming to the temple. He seemed angry when he came to the temple (the way he braked his car). It must be the reaction to RP and Barkha's shennigans. But they skipped that scene in Dev's room where he decide that RP has gone too far and he is not going to take it anymore. Hence his visit to Rawal and to that temple. Maybe he went to Mansa's house and was told that Radhika was at the temple. But we never get such a proper sequence and are supposed to fill in the gaps where Dev and Radhika are concerned. For characters like Barkha and Padma or even BB, we get repeated scenes that are unneccessary.
. Yes he knows all that , but he saw today that as he had known she has not given up on the childhood marriage and still accepts him as her husband but is very desperate to open the knot to prove to him that it does not matter to her...so if chunnu munnu want they can show that he might be thinking that there might be some other reason...and the reason is her fear or how this fear entered her head...now I do not have any clue as to whether they will think that Dev as a character is important to be shown thinking along these lines...

Yes, you are right here. I don't think Dev knows that RP did the brainwashing to Radhika or forced her emotionally to come to this decision. I keep on hoping that they would show disillusionment on Dev's part when it comes to RP. Maybe knowing this latest betrayal (and the biggest for dev) would be the final straw. At least I hope so where Dev gives up RP just as he gave up Rohan.
From todays episode it seemed that Radhika might be the sugaan but not the dharmapatni...now I do not have any clue as how these two words...suhagan and dharmapatni can be separated from each other...to me someones wife means suhagaan and also means dharmapatni......
Trust these creatives to come up with something that doesn't make sense to anybody.

Anyway, coming back to Dev and Radhika. I am still waiting for 3 more episodes to see if they will indeed give any meaningful dialogues to Dev and Radhika. Yes The precap suggests that the answer is no.Yes..tmrw will be banno ranis day... Well now it would be wistful looks of Radhika as it was for Dev last time. Will Dev be coming again to convince Radhika (just as she did last time) since creatives are again into their circles?
True but dada is in love with Padma and Barkha no... ...This family believes in sharing...wonder whom the dadas wife was really married to..following family traditions I am sure that she was someone elses wife... That makes sense. Since RP is as mad as his grandson Rohan, he maybe made his brother's wife his and maybe all his sons are illegitimate.
So true...poor Bumbum.😭 Now he has a psychotic dada, an eva braun like daima, a clingy stepmother, psychotic brother and might soon aquire a fake psychotic wife...Remind me why on heck does he want to become an RP?.Even any psychiatrist will run away from this family.... Now this was a part that never made sense to me regarding Kashi Maharaj's prophecy. What is there to save in this family barring Dev? Radhika has saved Dev and so both should just leave this family alone. In fact, they need to kick out the entire family including RP from the PB once they become Mr. and Mrs. RP and Rptain. Or maybe the prophecy is to start from the top. So Radhika would need to reform RP and then go downwards to other family members. But still I echo your thoughts: Poor Bumbum to inherit such a family. Maybe it is Radhika's turn to kidnap Dev from PB and take him somewhere. Now I want Radhika to find her missing family. Maybe she has a nice Dadaji who for some reason is unaware of her existence. So both Radhika and Dev can be found by him and they then find Chaya. So both realize the meaning of true mother and true Dadaji. Both have a misguided idea about the true love of a grandfather and mother.
But remember this. Dharam doesn't change but society changes. If we go with what RP is propogating, then there would still be no widow remarriage (well to dada this rule will change if Rohan kidnaps the widow and decides to paly house house with the widow) So true. This RP makes his own dharam rules and breaks them too if it suits him.

So Radhika darling, you should be talking to Kanha and asking for a place where we can start the search for Mother Chaya. Let me worry about other things.tathastu...not from kanah but from Misti.😆

You know Misti, this RP is not that different from BB as you indicated yesterday. The arrogance is same. So he doesn't go to Mansa to tell him about breaking off engagement with Radhika, yet had no qualms accepting Barkha's condition of Mansa doing her kanyadan. Talk about insensitivity and entitlement. Then he asks Barkha to summon her parents as if he is doing her a favor. No matter what our feelings are about Barkha, is this a polite way? Shouldn't he be the one going to Barkha's mother and asking for permission. He is acting a total king here.

His behavior with Dev is the most atrocious. Dev is standing there and he is auctioning him off to various candidates. Then Dev leaves in fury and does the old man care? No. That's why the absence of Dev's scene after that made no sense. Dev has a temper and he lost it at that time. That's why he must have fumed in his room and decided that enough is enough. In some sense it was good. RP cured Dev of his shock and manipulations from the previous day and that resulted in Dev storming off to meet RAdhika. He probably had the plan to take her to Mansadevi temple anyway before he met her.

It was as if was reading some M&B of 70,s 80,s ...You will say i am obsessed with old time , but can not help it even that time M&Bs were less physical ...what the problem is with Creatives, why there are not scene between the two ?Are they afraid that because of their scenes TRP will increase ? Misti I liked Barkha , she immediately said yes otherwise RP was going to find some other girl , she has some plan in her mind that's why she wants Mansa to do the kanyadaan and when she met Radhika that time she was goading her to see her reaction ...I know we would not agree here...I liked Avinash and Rubina , they both were excellent ...

Thanks Neerja. I liked the mandir scene too...and it was also nicely acted. I actually cannot understand why they are not showing scenes between the leads that much...they are very good...as for whether they are worried if that will increase the TRP...shouldn't that be something that they should be aiming for? The reason I don't like Barkha anymore is because he presnce means scenes being chopped from the leads (they did it again to Dev yesterday) and I want this to be Dev's fight and Kanha showing the way...Barkhas role should be minimum and it should not be her driving this union of Dev and Radhika.

I'm pleasantly surprised, how much tact, patience and passion, he reminded and he argued to his girlfriend, their unbreakable connection, produced 12 years ago. Radhika's stubborn, then, finally accepted the facts of reality, brought tears of happiness in Dev's eyes, and tears of repentance in the eyes of Radhika.

Thanks incistris...when Dev considers something his own then it becomes very difficlut for someone else to take that away from him...now he considers Radhika as is own so thats why I liked him trying to make her understnad and using her words to show her why this bond can never be broken...both are equally stubborn.

Thanks Anamika.😃
This reminds me of the old CB1 days when you would write about how Amma would visit chunnu munnu and Vaishali would visit them to tell them how to write the storyline!!! Ahh yes...those were the fun days...
I think Barkha has taken over from Amma. Chunnu Munnu now think that she is the STAR of this show and everyone else is supporting her.yes...they are in love with her.
Like a lot of other people, I only watch the show when Dev and/or Radhika or Mansaram family are on screen. Otherwise I Fastforward. Don't blame you for doing this.I am tempted to do it most of the time.

Misti, loved your analysis. Yesterday's episode was too good. Both RaDev were excellent to say the least. Loved the Mansa Devi scene. It was fabulous. Don't like Barkha but I think she has some plan up her sleeves with her mom with her mom in tow. She has set the stage for Dev -Radhika wedding. But,I would like if Dev fought alone with Kanha's help & I wish the wedding is not done secretly or behind the veil. If Dev marries her in some mandir atleast RP & the society should know that he's got married to Radhika & not Barkha. Hope the ME would have some drama but not much.We want to enjoy Dev-Radhika wedding & would also love to see RP's defeated face in front of the society.
