When Rohan goes silently to meet Radhika and Padma calls, Dev hands over the phone to Rohan, saying he will NOT LIE. Yet again, when they come back from Raval, Padma questions where they were, Rohan tries to make up some story and tries to pull Dev in that lie, Dev clearly keeps quiet and does not confirm Rohan's story. But in yesterday's episode, he lies without hesistation, when Badi Ma questions who the girl is, when she spots Radhika. He covers up for Radhika, he is protective around her and does not even feel bad for lying to his Badi Ma for Radhika. This clearly shows that real feelings of Dev come to surface when Radhika is in some kind of problem or danger...
Dev was quiet when he was being questioned and accused by family about Radhika being his DG. But when he saw Rohan locked up in the room and Badi ma playing Dadaji card, he told Rohan that the letter was written by his DG but not Radhika.
His sense of obligation is over shadowing, his love for Radhika. His sense of guilt is hurting him from within. His pain, when he sees Radhika crying is clear in his eyes. Lump in throat, when Radhika cries or when he is asking Radhika to forget their marriage and asks her to sacrifice is clearly felt. He is like Volcano, like a jalwa mukhi that will erupt any minute...
He has quietly taken all the accusation and all pain from the family. But there needs to be some sort of eminent danger to Radhika, I think in this case, it would be fire, and this volcano will erupt and Dev will break his silence and will let go of his denial that this marriage is nothing but child's play for him.
I think he will scream out for Radhika - and express his feelings out, without even realizing that he is expressing his feelings. Radhika would be stunned and ecstatic at the same time, when he will pour his heart out and express his true feelings. I can almost " see" this scene in my head. It would be a treat to watch Radhika's expression and Avinash's stunning performance (almost like Haridwar scene)...
So, this time fire, Agni, which was witness to their first wedding, will be the catalyst that will bring out Dev's truth and it will triumph of Radhika devotion and Faith. What say???
