as discussion abt cb1 and cb2 came i wanna tell few things
in cb1 the female protagonist was very weak compared to male protogonist
but in cb2 the female protogonist was very strong compared to male and she is very detaermined
that is the only comparision according to me
because the story was entirely different
the cb2 and cb1 are equally nice
but what the problem is high expectation of audience

1. CB1 was strong on the romantic content to the extent of being unique . The Chemistry between Rubina & Avinash now seems like radha & Krishna in present day incarnation .
One likes to relive the scenes between Radhika & dev . from their first encounter when they were strangers till they got married .
2. CB 2 is stronger in plot . The schemes of M & her son are far more evil than mere grumblings of Susheel Arjun & Mrinalini .
It is yet to be seen how Rohan & Padma compare with Vishaka & Amma to keep radhika & Dev separate ,
3. Dev in his role in CB 2 reminds one of Abhay of CB1..

To me the love story of CB2 is very different than CB1--there is more subtlety and the storyline is also more complex.

This CB is a game --a game of possession and greed Vs responsibility and love. The each player has a goal with main charcaters being Dev and Radhika and Sr.RP representing the good and BB and Virat and Rohan representing the evil..

It is Dev and Radhika Vs Rohan for love and possession in one part of the game; and BB-Virat Vs Sr. RP in the game of greed Vs responsibility...Padma, Amba and Mohini are the pawns who will play an important role along the way----

And in this game, Kanha is the Saarthi--providing his guidance to his devotee--

This is very different than CB1 which was a simple, intense love story...
CB2 is more complex with many intriguing plots and sub plots---

Susanalouisanna I think u have some valuable thoughts here, but pardon me for pointing out the obvious; these evil vs good characters can be found in every Indian serial, but that wouldn't make most viewers quite the show just because they have seen similar characters in other shows…….

I wonder if anyone would even bother to notice these similarities if the show's name was different and the leads where different……….I find CB2 more complex and complicated than CB1, but it lacks intensity……in CB1 the chemistry between radev and their love for each other was so intense that u could almost feel it.

CVs need to somehow spice up CB2…..and focus more on the intricacies of the show, rather than rushing it thru for the ratings.

As for watching radev for another 2 yrs,…heck yeah I would, just like I would watch them if they were in any other show….

I think when viewers wanted CB back , it was that essence of the show should be there with the same lead and with Kanha,s presence and the Love story ...Channel and DJ,s got confused thought its a easy job as they have ready made viewers , why not to serve them the same essence with reverse tracks so that do not have to use much of brain , but forget in the bargain that viewers are intelligent ...Picked up good story-line , had good actors , midway muddled with the story , sometimes on a bullet train and other time moving like snail , in their own game confused the viewers like themselves ...May be it was kind of too many cooks spoil the broth ...Supposed to be going Pardes way , it was a good track ...Story is and can be different if handled with maturity , there are so many different shades in the characters ...Dev is a complex character , he has got scope to show his talent , doing a great job , same goes with Radhika , who is more confident and does what she believes in ...Creatives job to use their creativity and less interference of the channel for TRP race...Give this show time as its in the teething period , let it grow and Difference will automatically come ...Yes even i want to see Dev Radhika to create their magical and spiritual chemistry again and that will be the same of CB1 , which i would not mind to view again...Would like to see their love story with complexities again then the saas- bahu drama...
