I think the concept of showing Dev and Radhika as married in childhood is disgusting.Sells the wrong idea.

here they r not showin child marriage at al.... nobody forced Dev/Radhika to marry each other...it was totaly a coincidence ...as they r playin aroun "hawankund" the pandit considered Radev married ....it was totaly Radhika' s believe dat she consider herslf as suhagan...n above all it was Kanha's trick to unite Radev with a unbreakable bondage,....

I agree, but still this is done in villagers. In CB they have shown that RaDev getting married unknowingly. The elders are not involved. But,in some shows they show elders themselves getting involved in child marraige.

I agree with ur point that Child Marriage as an idea is just disgusting. But they are not showing Child Marriage here. Young Dev and Radhika got married unknowingly.....and even their parents were unaware about this fact. It was only after the marriage did Radhika realize it and began thinking of herself as married girl.

Here instead, they are showing the father actually encouraging a girl child (Radhika) whom he has adopted to study further and be independent. This despite him being from a very poor family. He is not asking her to stay back home and do all the chores just because she got married as a child. So i dont think the idea is disgusting at all.

Panditji said it on the basis of his thoughts completely....n he is not Radhika's guardian....who is he to say....Radhikas father is there...n he repeatedly told her to focus on studies n human values rather than marriage ...... he taught her to keep faith in God n proceed...

It was not shown as a Child marriage being performed ....Even kids did not know what they were doing....If you have seen, it all happened with rituals, while they were playing and running after each other.....Other couples were not children....Its part of the story where Kanha himself wanted them to be together......That part of marriage is picturized beautifully, where unknowingly they get married...It s pandit ji who saw it and informed Radhika,s parents...Because of pandit ji,s words kid Radhka thought herself to be married
