Yes I did enjoy today's episode as reasons for mother's rude behaviour towards Radhika was given, and am sure if such a decision is taken specially without my consent, due to which my blood suffers, I may also turn bitter towards that person , but I also liked as there was a hint shown in the last part of the scene and the precap that however rude she is, she does is worried about Radhika also.😊. It was only her who was asking in anger about Radhika's lateness and of where she was, even though it was for work but still only she was asking about her, the rest were not bothered itself.
Hope they do show a lil soft corner of her mom in the later stages when Radhika will require her the most and not just turn into the caricature of Amma.

Thanks AD.😉....I don't want this mother turned into a carricature of amma.............thats why I wanted to hear her POV. To me her POV is not justified but that is ok.....every person is different. Lets see how they further develop her.

Her father should explain to her that not all will love her .....and doing everything for someone will not make that person like or love her. If she has that self confidence then what people are saying should not effect her. I would like to see that groW*H in Radhika at home....one who stand up for what is right and does her work in her own way.
I did not have problem with Radhika being serious in CB1. As you wrote in several threads, Dev brought her out slowly from the shell. I used to think of Anupama when they were doing that. Of course the movie was far better than the serial. But my problem was with the way they ended without addressing anything. I always thought that Dev would make Radhika realize that she need not be obligated and also make Shastriji realize his complacent behavior behind Radhika's abuse. It didn't happen. So, don't want to see the repetition of that. It is good that they are keeping her carefree to differentiate her from the first season.
I too would like to see groW*H at home front. Let mother have her own reasons for disliking her presence. But Radhika hopefully is conscious of her rights as they mentioned numerous times in the interviews. Of course, the credibility of chunnu munnu is really low based on our CB1's experience.

Bumbumbhole is the true bholenath..hopefully he gets the shrewdness of Kanha (the hints are there). While Radhika hopefully will be a mixture of Radha and Parvati........Radha used to get away with everything regarding Kanha and Parvati went after Shiva.😉
I like your characterization of Dev and hope they follow it. It would be awesome if they do so. But, the quest for short-term ratings always come in the middle of a good story.
Ahh here is that Parvati in her coming out..........hopefully they will let her keep Parvati traits inside her.😃
I like your idea of Radhika being a combination of Radha and Parvati. It looks from the promos that she would go after Dev.

The husband needs to balance out the wifes treatment by standing up to her........today he looked guilty or helpless when the wife reminded him that he does not care for his own birth children. Since it looks like he has gone against his wife's wishes and brought home a baby then he should have the guts to stand up for that child at home.....why should Radhika be punished for something she has not done.

I agree that I don't want to see another version of Shastriji who was strong enough to bring an orphan girl but never stopped his mother from abusing his adopted daughter. He would act stern with her and others but would bow down in front of his wife. I hope they show Mansaram answering back Shanti on that. So far it doesn't look like that is happening.
How did a weaver get a Brahmin girl and why did he promise her to give her education from Gurukul?

I think the part highlighted will be one of the main subplots.....hopefully they will make it interesting and not like Imarti and Radhikas father popping out of air in CB1......and don't want to see any abused story........they don't know how to handle it.
Hope they do so. They may show the story when the adult people come to Gurukul and select Radhika for Rohan. So willing to wait for it as long as they show a proper logical backstory.

I am glad that the creatives have toned down the mother and are also giving her POV........otherwise the character was becoming too one dimensional for me. As for cat on the hot tin roof, it means one who has frayed nerves.....one who is jumpy.....it can mean restless.....one who is always looking for something. The saying was used as the name of a play by Tenesse Williams which was later on made into a movie with Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman.

Yes and the more kabutarni forces her wish of chota kabutar....more are the chances that he will refuse to listen to her.Maybe both will try to control Rohan to get what they want but it will all depend of Rohan and most probably his mother.😉

Personally I dislike people who take on some responsibility but then they fail to fulfill it....and here it is not some responsibilty but the wellbeing of a child. Just feeding and clothing a child does not mean that the well being of the child is looked after.....if she is emotionally let down then that will have negative effects on the child. Here the mother did not bring the child in the family, the father did and so the onus of this responsibilty is on him. If he has some personal issues regarding bringing Radhika home...then they are his own issues and others should not suffer for that. So creatives its high time he steps up and stands up for his adopted daughter. Angie at this moment my sympathies are with Radhika for being punished for something that is not her fault and also for her foster mother who probably was not even asked whether she wants to bring up someones elses child when they do not have the financial means to do so. This mother is becoming so bitter that she is not even realising that her bitterness is making her blind to her own childrens faults.......both of her birth children know very well how to manipulate her..the daughter does it to escape blame and the son winds her up for fun and ridicules her.

Thanks for your commentary Misti. Believe it or not, I have only watched one episode (saat phere) of CB so far😲 and I am depending on your commentary to get a feel for how the show is shaping up. Looks like the CVs and the channel are really making an effort to make up for what they subjected their loyal audiences to in CB1. Hopefully they will stay on track and not succumb to the TRP game or loose interest mid way. However, they do have a long way to go before they redeem themselves.

nice post misti.. yes, i also loved muskaan's acting. especially the last scene.

and yes, FM has been toned down nicely and they are trying to reason with her behaviour. I am sure, they are following your thread from the beginning, so it is good dear. and that is a very nice change.😃
