Chhoti bahu shoot put on halt...

After electricity shut down, the shoot of Zee TV's Chhoti Bahu - Sawar Ke Rang Rachi was put on halt yesterday...

Guess the rains have started affecting the shoots in the industry and after Star Plus' Maykee Se Bandhi Ye Dor, Zee TV's Chhoti Bahu sees a halt of the show.

A source says, "The shoot of Chhoti Bahu was put to halt yesterday because there was a power off on the sets. The electricity was shut down suddenly in the afternoon as there was technical issues with the generator. Though the actors waited for a long time, they could not continue the shoot in the evening."

When TellyBuzz contacted Avinash Sachdev, he refused to comment anything on this.

We also contacted Rubina Dilaik, but she informed that she was shooting with another unit in a different location.

The shoot, we hear, resumed late in the night which continued till early morning.

Dev to get shot again in Chhoti Bahu...

High drama in store in the coming episodes of Zee TV's Chhoti Bahu - Sawar Ke Rang Rachi...

It's a tense situation now in Zee TV's Chhoti Bahu - Sawar Ke Rang Rachi as Dev (Avinash Sachdev) has learned the truth that Rajpurohit's condition has worsened after he was injected again with a drug.

In the coming episodes viewers will see another high point in the show when Dev will again get shot by Rohan (Saurav Chakrabarti).

A source says, "In the upcoming track, Rohan will trace Radhika (Rubina Dilaik) and will find where Dev and Radhika are hiding. After they get spotted, Rohan will try to get back Radhika by force that will eventually lead into a fight between Dev and Rohan. Amidst the fight Rohan will shoot Dev on his shoulders."

We also hear that Chhoti Bahu will see its Maha Episode soon wherein Dev will be declared as the next Rajpurohit.

We tried calling Avinash Sachdev, but he was unavailable for comments.

My original name was Ruby but it was a nun in my school who named me Rubina.

As I told you my original name was Ruby because my Dadaji always dreamt of naming his granddaughter Ruby. At the age of three when I was giving my test in the school where I was seeking admission, I used to be shy and introverted. When the nun who was conducting my test asked me my name I just mumbled Ruby but she heard it as Rubina. It was only when my parents noticed my name written as Rubina in all my school documents did they realize the folly. By then it was too late to correct my name and the name Rubina stuck on.

Always in love with her childhood sweetheart Dev, Radhika married him unaware of the repercussion. To make him see reason was a difficult task for Radhika who had to convince Dev to change his decision and marry her. but when he refuses, she had to get engaged to the insane man (Rohan). Gopi Desai bags another DJ's show with Dharampatni..

Veteran actress Gopi Desai creates a hat trick of sorts by bagging a vital role in DJ's upcoming show for Imagine..

Gopi Desai played the role of the ruthless Ammaji to perfection in DJ's Creative Unit's Season 1 of Chhoti Bahu. She is presently seen playing the affectionate Daima to Dev in the second season of the same show. And now the lady has bagged the prized role of playing the grand mother of the lead Kastur (Aasiya Kazi) in DJ's upcoming show on Imagine, Dharampatni.

Our source tells us, "The elderly lady will play a fun loving character in the show. She is the Dadi of Kastur".

We tried calling Gopi Desaiji, but could not get through to her.

As reported earlier, Dharampatni will launch in mid August and will take the slot of Looteri Dulhan.

Rubina: Avinash is married to his phone

Anyone who was owned a BlackBerry knows how it can make your life simpler and easier. So what could be so bad about a device that delivers your messages in real-time, lets you surf the Web anywhere, keeps your schedule, and keeps you entertained between meetings with a nice game?

If not careful, it can take over your life! Choti Bahu Rubiana Dilak is furious with her fianc Avinash Sachdev for his BB (Blackberry) addiction. The two actors are popular for their characters in Zee TV's Chhoti Bahu.

Avinash's BB addiction takes the cake. It has become a nuisance on the sets of the show. Avinash is so engrossed in his BB that he forgets to get ready for the shots, he forgets his dialogues and at times, he even doesn't have proper meals because his BB keeps him occupied.

Says Rubina, "Avinash is a self proclaimed BB addict. He even takes his phone to the bathroom. His phone beeps constantly and very patiently, Avi replies to every PING! This gets very irritating at times. Being in the entertainment industry, we hardly get to spend quality time with each other and now this stupid phone makes me feel Avinash is married to his phone and I will be second wife if we get married."

Avinash defends himself, "I just love the device. Connectivity has become so much easier with it. I just can't leave the phone. I feel it's been made for people like me who are tech freaks and love to stay connected all the time."

Blackberry is a cool device to stay connected with your near and dear ones but surely can't be a reason to create havoc in a relationship. Watch out Avinash, please do not ignore these warnings from Rubina!!!

Dev finally becomes the 'Rajpurohit'

Zee TV's Chhoti Bahu is entering an interesting phase. After much trials and tribulations, in the upcoming Maha episode slated to go on air on 24th July (Sunday), Dev will finally have his rajyabhishek and will be officially designated as the 'Rajpurohit' of the family. Till now the audiences saw how Dev was thrown off the Cliff and Radhika was forced to sit with Rohan in 'rajyaabhishek pooja' as his wife. In this episode, viewers will see Radhika urging dadaji to speak the truth about Dev and save the rajpurohiti title from getting into wrong hand's but all her efforts go down the drain.

As predicted, one will see Rohan's Rajtilak taking place and very dramatically Dev turns up at that moment. He tries to stop Rohan's rajtilak but in turn gets bashed up badly by Rohan and Viraat. Radhika urges dadaji again to reveal Dev's true identity and stop the disaster. After tremendous upheaval, finally Radhika's efforts bear fruit and dadaji divulges to all that DEV is his chota pota and is the right candidate to become the Rajpurohit!

Watch all the action and drama in another power packed Maha epiosde of Chhoti Bahu on 24th July , Sunday at 7:30pm only on Zee TV.

WHO IS RUBINA'S BEST FRIEND?

Radhika is rewriting the rules of the game on Zee TV's Chhoti Bahu sets. Usually a female actor treats the entry of another new entry in the show with suspicion and contempt but Radhika surprised everyone on the sets by welcoming Benaf (surname – name of character) with arms wide open. Right from day one, Rubina and Benaf get along with each other like a house on fire. They are often seen chit-chatting, giggling away to at anecdotes, talking to each other in sign language in a crowd during breaks and making plans to go shopping! And going by the camaraderie they share on the sets it seems like they have actually been friends for a very long time.

It's endearing to see Radhika bonding with another female on the sets because throughout the first season of Chhoti Bahu till date, she was known not to have bonded with another colleague easily.

"There was no reason for me to be insecure about Benaf entering the show. Avinash and I have reached a stage in our relationship where we completely trust each other and I have no reason to worry. I was looking forward to Benaf's entry as no matter how close you are to your male friends, only a girl can be another girl's best friend." said Rubina with a big grin on her face. Benaf echoed Rubina's sentiments and added, "Since we spend so many hours on the sets, it's very comforting to have a friend with whom I can share my joys and inhibitions."

Rubina and Benaf, your off screen chemistry will surely bring in lots of positivity on the show in the weeks to come.

Dadaji announces Dev and Radhika wedding in Chhoti Bahu..

It's time for some happy moments in Zee TV's Chhoti Bahu - Sawar Ke Rang Rachi with the announcement of Dev-Radhika wedding..

Tough days for Dev (Avinash Sachdev) and Radhika (Rubina Dilaik) in Zee TV's Chhoti Bahu - Sawar Ke Rang Rachi are finally over with Rohan (Saurav Chakrabarti) and Maheshwari (Pragati Mehra) getting exposed.

Tonight's episode will see the continuation of major drama wherein Dev will succeed in stopping Padma (Sushmita Daan) from leaving the house. Rajpurohit (Rakesh Pandey) will expose Maheshwari, and to top it all, Rohan will be kicked out of the house by Padma.

Our source tells us, "Rohan will show no repentance for whatever he has done. This irks one and all, which will lead to him being sent out. Maheshwari will however, continue to stay in the house, but will be asked to lead a servant's life".

With all the problems sorted and Dev being declared the next Rajpurohit, Dadaji will make yet another announcement which will make all happy.

"He will declare that it is time for Dev and Radhika to get married. He announces that the family can go ahead with the wedding plans", adds source.

Will this happiness of Dev and Radhika be short lived?

Only time will tell..

Egypt

This is place known for its' historical importance and so those who are interested in learning the history of Egypt and adjoining area then Egypt is must visit place. Overall the country is underdeveloped. I was in Egypt for three weeks and visited places like Alexandria Samra Bay Marina resorts and the coastal line of Egypt is wonderful and a must watch. Egypt is not a shopping paradise as I feel Indian Malls have the same things. This country is known for its culture and rich heritage buildings. People say Nile River is very big and I didn't find it that large as it was the same as river Ganga. I went for a Nile cruise which was really good but I was impressed with the beauty of Red Sea, especially during the night. How can I forget the Sharm el-Sheikh, which is the favourite spot for scuba divers from around the world. I really enjoyed being in underwater and it is the best place for beach lovers. The night life in Egypt is good too.

Malaysia
I visited Malaysia during my break and it is a party place I must say. I was in Malaysia for 10 days and had gone to meet my cousins. We went to Langkawi where beaches are simply the best. From the sandy bays to the sweeping coastlines, it was amazing to be the part of such beauty. If you want to party hard then the beaches of Malaysia are perfect. It is a good shopping destination but I didn't shop much as I am not a shopaholic.
