did u write by ur self?

Truely creative.👏

Thanks Niha...yes I did write the poem 😳, all the poems in this thread have been written by me. Your Dev babu made me write this one.😉

beautifully written!! Dev asking his MOM, and even RPji( why didnt he give the right status).

The high lighted lines in third para, are so heart wrenching.😭 Poor Dev babu.
Wish we had seen something same in the show too.😔

Loved every para stating the mind and pain and anguish in Dev.

Thanks Niha...I am happy that you like it...his eyes have such a lost look, that I could not help myself.

Avinash would have done a fabulous job if they had shown a fraction of what you have written here

I am hoping they at least show this in flashback - dev is entitled to feeling abandoned

Thanks Rajsri for the appreciation. Avinash would have certainly done a fabulousjob here, he is very good in emotional scenes. As for Dev he is entitled to feel abandoned by his mother. I can understand him being soft toward Padma, he thinks that she is insecure and hence his sympathy and also being a very compassinate person he will also feel guilty. Dev also does not have any idea regarding what a real mother is...he never had his birth mother and the two he has seen since childhood are not the best examples of motherhood, but since he has grown up seeing all this he probably thinks that this is how it is. Infact Radhika too also does not have any ideas reagarding how a mother should be...but that does not mean that he won't have any questions or feelings of being let down by his birth mother.

Misti, both Dev and Radhika haven't got motherly love and their world is made of three mothers - Padma, Maheswari and Shanti who only show possessive, selfish and blind love. So both feel sorry for Padma as they think that she was deprived of much and there is a misplaced feeling of guilt in Dev. He feels that she lost Rohan too because of him. But independent of his feelings for Padma, he has yearned for his own mother and they showed it couple of times (when he realized that he lost Radhika too). So now that he knows that his mother is probably alive and gave him up, he has to feel a sense of loss. Also he has to feel resentment as well as sadness. So I don't see him coming to a romantic scene rightaway without unburdening himself in front of Radhika. That one scene of him sitting in the window was good but not enough. But just looking at the scene (the music suited his mood), one could imagine how well he would have performed the breakdown scene.

In CB1, there was an emotional breakdown in two scenes shown in April 2009. One was when he sees Radhika in the temple with sindoor and then she disappears. Then he sits by himself and breaks the glass in his hand. Radhika runs downstairs to console him but stops at the last minute when Vishaka comes in. Then there was a Haridwar scene where he shows his hurt and betrayal to Radhika, then walks away in anger and then comes back to confront her. Eventually there is a sad acceptance in him that he would never get her now. They dedicated two episodes on him and Radhika and here not even a single scene was allowed. What a missed opportunity.

Misti, as I have said it before God has gifted you with many talents...here your poem.👏

You have captured the essences of the picture with your beautiful words...
Wish Cvs would have given some RaDEv scenes where Dev talks about his feelings of pain and anguish...Avinash has dome mind blowing acting...and has perfect facial expressions...👏

Thanks Sigrid...That scene of Dev sitting by itself was very poignant, that I had to write something.

Thanks Hari...his eyes held all the anguish. Itsvery unfortunate that they did not show any scene of Dev talking about his anguish in front of Radhika.

Thanks cris.😉
Featured are your poems, their lyrics contain so many nuances of meaning, we can discern with pleasure. Nice, as your creative muse is the perfect pair,Radhika and Dev.
Muse...I have never thought it that way but one can say that they are my muse. Both have very expressive eyes and that is what me write about the emotions of the characters that they are projecting.

In poetry <Quandry> remember my attention last stanza:

"But yet the heart still holds dreams

That makes me live life although it may seem

That I am caught up in the years long departed

Waiting for the one from whom I have been parted."

Here you surprised, extremely well, waiting Radhika, thoughts they misunderstood by anyone, just Kanha and Dev. When the ship when she heard the first time, sweet sound of the whistle, she felt a shiver exceedingly sweet reminded of something that childhood longing and waiting anxiously, that half of her heart. It is clear that Dev had the same feelings, at the same time and same intensity as Radhika.

That scene of Radhika and Dev was beauifully done...Radhika had thie expression on her face and seeing it I felt that she is wndering that I know this tune but I don't know this tune...and Dev's voice...I think someone I know is close by...and that poem came out of those sentences. The scene was shot well too.

Thanks, and congratulations, Misti!

You are weclome Cris...and thanks for the beautiful poster. You have captured bith the sentences that I wasrefering to.

The cry of a tortured soul

Am I not human, not supposed to feel a thing

When others around me rain insults and ire

Shouting that I am born of some fling.

Is it my fault that the ones in charge fell into a mire

Due to their own albatrosses around their neck

And went away leaving me burning in a never-ending fire.

Why are people pointing their fingers when, I am not to blame

As I was not even present when all this happened

But why is it that my name is up in flame.

Did anyone ask me more than two decade back

About my opinion, when they were sinking in the quagmire

Created by the fact that it is their own sense of judgment that they lack

Has anyone ever thought that I might not desire

Of the call that has been entrusted on me

That all this feels like the talons of vultures ripping incessantly

Why is it that no one thinks of the child who was born with chains

That to others looked made of gold but were in truth shackles that

Stopped the flight of life and instead gave endless pain.

Oh am I not human, not supposed to feel a thing

When others around me rain insults and ire

Shouting that I am born of some fling

MISTI

the pictures and these lines so touching
Did anyone ask me more than two decade back

About my opinion, when they were sinking in the quagmire

Created by the fact that it is their own sense of judgment that they lack

The track of Dev's feelings pouring out his feelings in front of Radhika would have been one of the best scenes with Avinash and Rubina acting and the background team they can still do it your expressions and poetry just so sad just so touching I think you should put all the poems of CB1 and 2 compile them and make it one book an antology.
