isti,

Your poem is beautiful and captures the essence of the boat scene perfectly. The emotions expressed in the poem goes very well with the song they played.

Really happy to see this thread back and am glad that you continued with the previous thread.

Thanks Angie

I did think about another Thread then though why not continue with Radhikas journey.......a different path that she might choose this time. It was these expression that made me write....

Misti,

I know CB1 for you was always Radhika's journey. It started for me the same way but I lost my sympathy for Radhika somewhere after she confessed her feelings to Dev and it did not reappear until after she moved to PB after the second wedding. In fact your analysis made me see some of her actions from a POV of an abused person later on. Of course they ping-ponged her character so much especially in June-August 2009 (pre-engagement period) that she came across as a selfish person whose priority was to appear great in eyes of the society. For me that was not an essence of Radha. So I preferred your analysis over what they showed. Unfortunately, they never showed a proper groW*H and a proper realization on Radhika's part of her actions. It all became those ritualistic punishments for something which she didn't do.

I am liking her characterization a lot in CB2 and she is my favorite over Dev even though I do feel sympathetic to his character too. Hope they don't mess up her character later on as they did for Dev during the Abhay track.

In any case your poem fits her characterization perfectly.

Just felt like writing something based on Radhika wandering in her thoughts.........

Quandry

Will the search ever end

Will a broken heart ever mend

Why do I always yearn for someone

When I get repetitively told that there is no one.

Are my thoughts only dreams

One that I thought I felt but to others it seems

That they are nebulous feelings of times long gone

But to me they are the essence that completes me as one.

Why are others always telling me

That what I believe is like a boundless sea

That has no end in its unending optimism

Because to them my thoughts have no realism.

But yet the heart still holds dreams

That makes me live life although it may seem

That I am caught up in the years long departed

Waiting for the one from whom I have been parted.

Beautifully expressed Misti That scene was well done and Rubina acted very well.

Ur poems touch the very essence of Radhika and the scene

Thank you Chalhov.......As I was watching her yesterday I felt I should write something.......so wrote this in my lunch break today.

Rubina was good in that scene....they should just give her the scenario and let her emote.....The always spoil the effect by giving her crappy dialogues.......the temple scene on monday was good but they spoilt it by giving her the silly gulal dialogue.
