Misti .. wonderful poem ... really wish they had shown some of this ... 😭

the writers had no interest in doing anything for abhay's character apart from showing him alternatively chasing after rads and pushing her away ... they could have done this so much better ... i too thought he was fine all the way up to the time he came back to PB ...

So heartfelt--so poignant--

Abhay's character and memory loss track had so much potential; and as you have written CVs failed to capitalize on this possible wonderful track. They never showed the inner turmoil, the guilt, the remorse, the confusion, ----trying to understand what was the inner drive that pulled Abhay towards Radhika, why unknowingly, unconsciously he did things ---it was as if he had no control over his conscious thoughts...


WHAT A SHAME😡 it was, that CVs destroyed Abhay and Dev's character and in the process turned a beautiful story in to an illogical one....

To me CB was always different than other serials--it was a story--a romantic love saga---it had a beginning --a middle and a beautiful end. I never considered it a drama; not something that would run for years. I felt that CVs made a fatal mistake by making it a drama and failed miserably in trying to create a melodrama. These creatives were never able to handle the climax of any track. They were so many things in the story that had so much potential --like the missing photographs. CVs tried to bring the first marriage photos to the forefront, create curiosity among the fans ---just to let it fizzle out.


I wish, I could turn back the time on CB and restart Jan 1 2010 and rewrite all the episodes---

Well, only thing I can say now is a production house should create a show for AVINA and hire you as their consultant---That show will rock----😊

When they initially showed Abhay and Radhika meeting, they showed his torment. But, they started destroying his character from the time they brought him back to PB with Kanika. I think the story was suddenly changed at that point. Initially, they were showing 4 years and eight months when Dev and Radhika met. Then suddenly before chandanpur they made it 4 days before the end of 5 years with both sets of gundas following them. So, I guess the story was to make Dev recover his memory, but then somebody brilliant must have come up with Kanika living like Vishka and the whole thing changed where Abhay's character became this obnoxious one. Then, it was progressively bad every week until both his intelligence and integrity were destroyed.

I watching yesterday evening an earlier episode where the pandit talks about having only one marriage in Dev's kundli. Dev is shown to overrule everyone's objection by saying that getting Radhika is more important and he is prepared to face all obstacles. That's why Abhay's actions in PB never made sense as Dev didn't care neither about society nor about rituals when it came to choosing Radhika. Here, he was shown as not even making an effort to discover if he indeed was Dev.

Misti u have expressed very well the feelings we wanted to see in Abhay yesterday very interesting poem and today I was seeing the Vat savitri episodes where Dev did not care for anything even when he thought he was married to Vish and then I saw how much his character was butchered as Abhay😡

Misti verry beautifully written. This shud exactly be Abhay feelings which ahd to be shown thru some emotional turmoil during the whole Abhay- rad track but alas CVs had some other plans. Instead of tormenting abahy emotionally they tormented viewers emotionally n mentally..

though i liked the whole poem, liked 1st two stanzas more. incorporating all this post june wud hav taken CB to some new heights but Channel n PH together chose otherwise n killed it brutelly.

You are welcome Chipak and thanks for appreciating it. This is one of the poems that I had difficulty in writing. I depend on the characters to show me their feeling for write a poem on it. ....but unfortunately for this episode I hit a blank wall so at the end wrote on what he should have felt in that episode and how he should have reacted based on my point of view.
