i just read this article in the news paper and was shocked though i hope iqbal never comes back to cha. iq all the best for all ur future projects and pls complete them, it really hurts when u leave us hanging. i hope to see u doing some rocking shows!

it is realy very sad that he is leaving .. and he will be comming in a new show soon but the magic of abhimanyu adhikari wont be there for sure ... i was actually in luv with his character abhi ...... for me it was the best role he had ever potrayed ... in his new show i will defintely miss him in unforms

u are rite ..tanya ....... iqbal ko uniform mein dekne ki baat hi alag thi ..... in his new show whichever role he plays but the magic of abhi will be missing

@sajibabe, i just wanted to give my view as his fan, first of all we dont know the circumstances nor the reason he felt he did not want to renew his contract, perhaps he felt the character had run its course, so the contract was over he decided to try something else so his talents are not wasted and he recieves the job satisfaction he so deserves. Thats contract work, with the freedom to move on at the end of it now if he broke his contract that would be a different thing.

I as a fan commend him for his decision and yes I am saddened and will miss him as abhi but at the end of day its just a show....there will be others so as fans we will wait when he is back and enjoy him again.

Actors/Actresses leave shows, Indian TV seems to have high turnover, really its no big deal, those who want to watch him will watch those who dont will watch what tickles their fancy. but to attack him, his decisions or whats dear to him, is insulting and discourteous.

good luck iq & come back soon 😉 and his fanbase is got more to do with people enjoying an actor's talent...rather than an ability to stay in a show for years and years.....to me is a waste, he has the confidence in his talent and ability and that takes guts and is worthy of respect.
