I'm not too happy about Ankita playing that role too as i find her a little weak in acting, not captivating enough and also her roles and look are always of the innocent, sweet girl so for to do a negative, sexy, bold role is a huge jump which i don't think she will be successful in

BUT we can be proved wrong, lets see

Meh... same here She looks like someone who would do a positive role better. She's not too bad of an actress, just not someone I can imagine in a negative role. I would have preferred another actress who has done the villain role.

I agree guys. I personally would have even preferred Madhura over Ankita if not Barkha! Just don't like Ankita, and I have never liked her.

Totally agree...Madhura or Sonia would have potrayed negative role of Laila way BETTER than Ankita...no offense but she looks OLD in compare with Ashish..😆

I think my perspective towards ankita is also same.I didn't like her too much in any of her show but i guess producer must have seen something in her to make such decision.lets wait n watch n decide.

Hey Bess,
OMG, this is the chick that did an "Indianized" Drew Barrymore's 50 First Dates character in a previous show... she was way below par. If I hadn't seen that I would have been totally neutral.
This is one reason I no longer want to see any of the actors in their previous shows. I want to keep an open mind about the character they will portray in Rangrasiya.

BTW...The actor playing the "evil landlord" is hot.

This is strictly my opinion and in no way mean to offend anyone.

Agree ankita will look older then ashish. I watched audition for lailas character and there was two or three girls looking promising for lailas character. .I dont know why nautanki telefilms preferred her...but I am sure she will look older then ashish.

Not going to judge before I have seen her. If they picked her, there must be something that they found fitting for the role. Looks can be enhanced with makeup. As long as she can act.

Beintehaa looks a bit different from usual shows...Its something related to Muslim religion's rules and all...Both ML an FL dont want to marry but get married due to family pressure and their religion says after marriage they have to consummate once only then they can separate..and divorce

I'm a Muslim, and there's no such rule in Islam. In fact, a forced marriage is illegal according to many schools of thought in our religion. But since they both said yes to the Qazi, it's taken at face value that they want to get married. If they want, they can divorce anytime. Even soon after the Nikah.
