Made some edits on Sanaya...I am really proud of her for attempting something completely different as Parvati...Always wanted her to come up with a role completely different from her previous ones...Gunjan had a quiet dignity, Khushi exuded Joie de vivre,Chanchan brought warmth and liveliness...But Paravti has angst and gravitas,depth and pain,more than any of her character...Every shot of Parvati has loss,agony and yearning written all over it...I am glad this role came to her which allows her to go all out there as an actor... No farce, no bubliness...Its all intense and heart wrenching.And I for one love it!

The preparations for Sanaya Irani's show are in full swing, every day the makers are hiring and firing actors to play different roles

The new actor to join the huge star cast is Ankita Sharma who was last seen in Life OK's Amrit Manthan as the protagonist. It seems the makers of Rangrasiya have now roped in Ankita to play a pivotal role in the show. Ankita, who has been playing positive characters in all her shows, will be seen in a different avatar in this one.

Playing the negative lead of Laila, Ankita will be portraying a bold and daring character. She will be in love with our hero Ashish Sharma. The sweet and soft spoke Ankita has set out to do such a daring character, which is the complete opposite of the real her. We wonder if Ankita will be able to pull it off. Besides looking the part, the negative character has to be very convincing and head strong.

We just hope Ankita is able to bring forth the bitchiness Laila requires. Fingers crossed!😆

@red - For a change me n Bwd Life happen to agree on something... I am also skeptical about her ability to play the sexy role well... but hoping for the best..😆

@green - Anyway love how its written on the top!! but they should add Ashish too along with her, its both of their show😳

The new promo of Nautanki Film's show is live and we are totally intrigued by it

Rangrasiya is a story set in Rajasthan about Parvati (Sanaya Irani), who believes in the ultimate power of love, and Rudra (Ashish Sharma), who thinks love is a waste of an emotion. The new promo showcases Parvati leaving her home to go live with her in-laws and husband, but her route is intercepted by army men.

They check their belongings to find weapons hidden under wedding clothes. Suddenly arms are fired and in the process, Rudra shoots Parvati's husband. Rudra then, ties her up and takes her along. The whole sequence seemed rather interesting and fresh, as we've not witnessed anything like it in regular daily soaps. The promo ends with Rangrasiyas punchline: Rann ki reth pare, rakht se rachi prem ki daastaan!

The show will go on air starting December 30 at 9:30pm.

I know the promos have been fabulous and I can't wait to watch Sanaya the actress - we got glimpses of it in her earlier shows - but I can't wait to see it in her new show - I'm extremely glad she picked this role too!

I so wanted to see this heartwrenching side being explored with Sanaya, cz no matter how amazing she is with humor she surpasses herself with emotional heartbreaking scenes..!! awww i love watching her cry and weeping along with her, for her.. cz when she is sad i cannot help but feel her..

and the heartfelt yearning, loss, grief...wow... this time she will make us all weep!

@-enchanted- what amazing siggies! Absolutely love them! ❤️ and i agree with everything u said! she is so versatile and she never repeats roles and goes out of her way to ensure that! And my prayers are that this becomes the biggest success of her career till date and it gives her all the accolades that is her just due!
