That was so beautiful, the way the order in which the scenes were, for a moment made me wonder if its going to imply Rudra shooting Paro.. Something like he shoots n the next scene is of Paro collapsing on her kneesBut that did not happen.. And BG tune was so captivating too..

About Ashish's tweets, these should be considered an educational experience.. Whoever dint get a chance to learn hindi poetry and literature this ur chance.. And when the teacher is so handsome, it will make the subject less tedious..😆😆The sands seem to have overwhelmed him..

They may not use so much of regional dialect i think

a. They seem to be promoting the show for a urban/global audience and not just TRP aunties, considering what i ve heard here about the promo telecast
b. The lines that Rudra spoke in promo#2 were rather straight forward..

But yes, requesting for subtitles is definitely a good idea..😊

About the comparison with MB,they have based their findings on a very small voting base and are probably quoting the most inflammatory of the comments. This PH is definitely capable of handling another show, as they had the sense to do it first on a smaller scale with DDEJ. Unless its a case elder sibling jealousy syndrome with MB fans..😆

Hope the cast and crew have a nice time shooting there and dont stress themselves out, as ST's tweet says.. Hope they complete the Rajasthan n desert part of it in adequate detail before moving back.. The beauty of the deserts is something to be seen..😊

I love your handsome teacher comment 😳 .. Seriously he is quiet the poet, it's refreshing to have an actor with such a solid command over Hindi ..
Btw guys , Hindi is my mother tongue and once upon a time I used to read a lot of Hindi literature , so ask me right away whenever a transalation is required .,, 😃

I have read some of the discussions and analysis here, I have to say you guys are thorough. You have microscopically analysed everything in such a short time. And I couldn't even read all comments as my poor mobile and GPRS could not cope up with the speed at which the thread was moving yesterday.

Now since I have calmed down post promo 2 excitement, I have decided to pen down my brief opinion/analysis/comparison of the 2 promos.

1. Quality wise, I think both are equally amazing. When I saw promo 1, I was like I don't think they can equal/better that. But when I saw promo 2, I was amazed. I can't even decide which I like better.

2. My analysis of the concept :
- Promo 1 was all about introducing the concept of the show along with the two main protagonists. It explains that the show is about a BSF officer dedicated to his duty and a young Rajastani girl who becomes a widow on her wedding day. It also tells that it is a love story that starts in the desert born in the midst of bloodshed. "Rann ki reth mein Rakht se rachi, prem ki daastan''. WAH!! Whoever wrote that line, kudos to him. It is so impactful and beautiful and has so much depth. Gives me goosebumps everytime. Even the English translation doesn't do it justice.

- The breaking of bangles, removing of the wedding veil, being surrounded by those women in black, suggest that it is not just a love story, but a show with social issues about oppression in the society, specially of widows.

- Promo 2 is more about giving us an insight into the personalities of the two protagonists. The fact that Paro was running away from those ladies, suggest that she might be a girl brought up in an extremely conservative/backward society, but her views are way ahead. She believes she doesn't deserve the fate and oppression that has been cast upon her and hence is running away, bare feet in the hot sand, without food or water. This suggest she is courageous and will not accept injustice meekly.

- While she is trying to escape, she is spotted by Rudra. His circling round her indicates he has trapped her. His words where he says that wherever you go you will find ME as a border are significant. What struck me was he uses the word ME not Us. Which indicates he is not talking about his duty, but it seems more personal. This indicates his possessive personality. He seems more like the "Finders Keepers" kind of a person.

- I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but the ending of the two promos struck me as significant. The 1st promo ends with Rudra pointing the gun at Paro's head. The 2nd promo ends with Rudra extending the waterbottle towards Paro. The 1st is 'Life Taking', the 2nd is 'Life Giving'. Maybe it indicates that he will be ruthless towards her in the beginning, but will slowly start melting and extending his support to her. But Paro being the feisty and proud one, will not accept his peace offering so easily. He will need to work harder than that.

Ya...So that is my two cents.

Evening everyone,

Yikesss!!...just caught the new promo, just how amazing is it?!...viewing the Rangrasiya promo just take me to a new era, especially the new one..it has this earthy and rugged feel to it.

It seems like there is no way out for Paro, she tries to run and break free from capture yet destiny always brings her back into captivation...she shows slight hesitation but is willing to change her destiny by not letting herself break and fighting back the enemie(s)

What outshone for me in the promo was one sentence "sarhad ki tarah mujhe paayegi" and upon hearing sarhad Rudra draws a borderline with water...that part really enchanted me..it was so apt and those words infused out a feeling of hate/intensity/confusion...could it be that there may always be a border of sadness for Paro which refrains her from entering over to the border of happiness?

Being an orphan and suffering from a young age, either by the narrowminded society or her family may have overshadowed her happiness, thus Paro being thrown into a life full of hurt and pain and the only thing that exists are her dreams of finding love and happiness!!

Totally loved the way Ashish voiced those dialogues, and as for Sanaya she pleased tremendously with her expressions and made known that this Paro is not the one to give up and will fight the hardships, hurt and pain in her life.

...and as usual the direction, cinematography and the entire visual was splendid and attractive, well done team Rangrasiya

Beautiful interpretation! 👏

Loved this ... especially the last part in bold 👏 After reading that, I hope the third promo carries forward that equation even further ... Life Taking ... Life Giving ... Life Together maybe?

Hectic day ... will be in and out ... looking forward to more beautiful interpretations of the two promos!
