@bold- Oh I dint know that.. And how was he in that? I mean Othello is such a complicated person so.. I havent seen his previous works but what I saw in the promo, loved it.. 😊

Ashish was very good playing an Othello like character, although I hated seeing a husband that doubted his wife's fidelity and caused her death (unintentionally, in this case). In GKD, Ashish played a don like character that fell in love with a beautiful wealthy girl. They wedded against family consent but their lives were always filled with many hurdles. At one point, his character believed that his wife was cheating on him with his sworn enemy. His SIL and enemy framed her so that she seemed infidel. He didn't kill her but he threatened her to leave his life. Nonetheless, she was killed by his lusting SIL (she's widowed). At the end of the show, he dies as he realizes that he's lost his precious wife who was always loyal to him. He commits suicide so that he can join her in the afterlife. I hated this track but that's how the story ended. Anyways, I'm happy that RR wont have Othello inspiration.

U, eloquently put as always! Have to hand it to the cv's and the channel, they have maintained the mystery and the aura around the show ... and have let very few details out so far. The promo, the pics, and few catch phrases we have gotten from the promo as well as from Ashish, are just making the show more mysterious and intriguing. Each quote is beautiful and raises more questions and speculations ... Sanaya was right when she said there are many very creative people associated with this show.

I hope it will again be the kind of show where the emotions are hidden and seething under the surface, and subject to multiple interpretations ... that will make the show enjoyable to watch. Seems to have got off to a good start, with so many interpretations and analyses already coming from all of us here, with just one promo and a couple of pictures. Am starting to get really excited about this show ... as if I wasn't already! 😆 Earlier it was because it was Sanaya's show ... now I'm excited for the show itself.

And I have to say, this new jodi looks simply delicious ... his rugged rustic looks against her petite fragile beauty ... the stuff fairy tales are made of. Rudra Parvati ... a jodi made in heaven ... literally!
