Today's Take - Aitraaz?

I really liked today's episode ...

Despite the slightly cheesy ChhanMan scenes, the actors brought a depth and feeling into them ... so I enjoyed the initial candle and hand burning scenes ... the second Chhanchhan hand burning scene was a little more rushed, but still liked it. I was glad that Manav had enough sense to stop Chhanchhan from saying sorry to Rupali ... and CC was more worried about Manav's contract so she was ready to let go her own feelings to say sorry to Rupali ... these little things show the understanding between the couple. ChhanMan will remain one of my favorite telly couples because of this communication which was their hallmark ...

Also I like the Kaumudi-Chhanchhan bonding ... they share a very sweet sisterly relationship from the start, and it was nice to see Chhanchhan seeking reassurance from Kaumudi for once ... made them more realistic than CC always being the mature one. She is the youngest in the family, and it's nice that they haven't made her a 'mahaan' all knowing bahu ...
Mugut has had a very complete makeover 😆 all supportive husband now!

Rupali - Manav scene was good ... Manav had it coming, he had been completely clueless about Rupali's intentions ... Rupali (the actress) was very good in that scene .. made me dislike her completely. And I heaved a sigh of relief that Manav metaphorically slapped her off and threw the contract in her face ... I was afraid the contract had become all-important to him and he would do something really stupid!

Dadaji-Chhanchhan were very cute too ... although the RanSan expose didn't take much time, with Sanjana spilling the beans so quickly ... that whole scene was the only one I felt too rushed ... they could have taken more time over that. Chhanchhan in her Choonli get up was actually unrecognizeable at first glance ... 👏

Chhanchhan's worry about Manav's contract haunted her the entire day ... I could empathise with that completely ... nicely done.
And the last ChhanMan scenes was really fabulous ... Anuj and Sanaya nailed that one completely ... Manav's worry and tension, Chhanchhan's worry at his worry ... her puzzlement, yet just being there for him, Manav wanting her to promise to be with him always ... both actors were excellent, their expressions were spot on ... wish we could see them in a more serious show. That was the scene of the day for me. 👏

So Rupali is up to something ... Aitraaz track coming up? We have an extra week of the show, apparently ... so let's see what happens.

Whenever I will think of this show in future, it will be about good ideas which were not executed well. If the screenplay was better, these tracks would be so interesting.

regd rupali...its obvious she has planned to.somethng wrong2 manav..

I thnk.not only cc entire bs family will stnd by manav..

Despite his outburst in the restaurant Manav feels that Chhanchhan need not apologise or talk to Rupali...chalo some sense prevailed there. Again another mirror scene of ChanMan with burnt hands and creatives are exhausting their song list since past few episodes.

Finally, the true intention of Rupali is in front of Manav and wind got blown out of his sail. The vamp gets to say her piece unlike TV bahus and Manav gets a rude shock. Really liked the last ChaMan scene, they are each other's emotional anchor, both Sanaya and Anuj were very good. This couple always talks, so will they resolve this Rupali issue together too, will Manav tell Chhanchhan? Rupali is not giving up so soon...Manav' s integrity is being put to test here.

The Dadaji and Chhanchhan scene was passable and RanSan being caught was done in a hurry. Can't say if we will see a newly minted, fair minded Ranjana from tomorrow. Mugut realises that Kaumudi needs a break from household chores to focus on herself and work, ist's OK to compromise once in a while, though in this case Chhanchhan stepped in.

From the precap it looks like Rupali has registered a false case against Manav, think the show is ending on Sep 19th, one week to sort all the mess and hopefully last week will be happy, romantic ChanMan scenes and glimpse of Sarabhais, dogs and of course even Umaben.

I agree with you so much about your first line ... this show had so much potential, it's really a pity that it wasn't realised. The poor writing let it down ... the tracks and themes have been very relevant and relaistic all through, and all the actors nailed their roles, especially after the second month ...

CV's are taking our request for ChhanMan scenes in every episode very seriously ... more power to them ... after CC ends, these uncuts are what I will watch again 😛

Lol ... I felt exactly the same as you about the RanSan scene ... that was the only one I felt was too rushed.

I loved the last ChanMan scene ... shades of Aitraaz track coming up? Although Chhanchhan is no lawyer 😛 ... but I guess the entire family will be roped in ... unfortunately the two troublemakers, Manthan and Ranjana are witness to the CC fights, and the brothers all saw Rupali making overtures to Manav, yet they all know how besotted he is with CC ... so wonder how that will play out. Hope the cv's give us a decent track to end the show ... and leave enough time for a happy last couple of days.

Meera, the FL for the new show has been finalised ... but last I read, it starts last week of Sept. So CC completes 6 months. 😃

Totally agree with you about the last ChanMan scene ... it was really good. Anuj and Sanaya both rocked it ... Anuj's eyes were fabulous, his expressions were spot on. And I'm looking forward to seeing CC come into a fiery Durga avatar to protect her husband ...

I think this track is nice, but the time available is too less for it to be shown properly. Diya, the show is ending on Sep 19th. So that's 2 weeks from tomorrow. Actually they do rush things in this show, so who knows maybe they'll resolve this within a week. And we need Uma back, she could have set that Rupali straight.

The episode today was very good, alot better than the other episodes this week. Like you said, the last scene was the highlight of the episode. It was also my favourite scene. Both Anuj and Sanaya did a wonderful job, the hug was really cute. Loved how Manav wanted to be assured that CC will always be with him and never leave him. Will really miss the pair when the show ends!

I am wondering jst incase trp increases within this track will the channel change the mind ending the show 😕
