Today's Take - Getting Kaumudi Ready

Today's episode seems to be the beginning of the end of the Mugut track ... so we can we have one last track only on ChhanMan please, cv's? And a honeymoon if possible ... even if it's in the same Gir Forest which was planned earlier. Please and thank you! 😛

Small sweet Rakhi segment in honor of Raksha Bandhan as Mansi ties raakhee to her four brothers ...
Manthan apparently always gives her money, and not a gift, to her disappointment. So does Manek. Manav gives her a gift ... and Mansi asks Mugut for her gift ... take Kaumudi bhabhi for the official dinner. Mugut doesn't answer, but he's in a fix ... can't deny his sister her rakhee gift. So he answers Mayuri rather shortly ... much to her concern. Did she make a mistake with her stunt?
They never explained why Mayuri changed her mind and wanted Mugut back. Did Mayur Patel fly away or something? Why did she give up on him? 😕
RanSan also changed their saree style ... and Dadaji compliments Umaben on her changing thoughts ... seems pallu was totally an Umaben decision, neither Babuji nor Dadaji has any problem with the absence of the sacred pallu ...

Rugved and Maithili arrive for Raksha Bandhan ... Maithili tries to corner first Umaben, then Chhanchhan with her questions about Manav ... Manav and Chhanchhan manage to ensure she doesn't get a chance. Maithili worris that Chhanchhan is ignoring Manav in her efforts to look after his family ... ah we had the same thoughts here ... CV's reading our discussions again?
But that seems to be the end of that ... it could have been a cute mini track 😕 Wonder if they will take it up again, it seems they're ending the Mugut track fairly quickly.

Manav and Chhanchhan get busy training Kaumudi for the upcoming dinner ... how to walk and talk 😛 ... and eat and drink ...
Apparently the Ahmedabad Businessmen's Association has a colonial hangover and only appreciates people who can walk English, talk English and eat English ... 😆

ChhanMan scene of the day ... CC in blue nighty ... thank you, cv's ... more of these please And could we get Manav calling Chhanchhan Jaan again ... he only called her that once, that too in a letter ... want him to say it face to face

And the day of the dinner is already here ... that was quick! 😕 Umaben is worried that Mugut will take Mayuri, and the Borisagar family will lose major face ... seems she hasn't lost that aspect of her thinking yet ... but this one was quite understandable. Though her volte face towards Chhanchhan has happened very fast, but I like this saas bahu relationship much better, so am not complaining too much ... just enjoying it.

RanSan look much better in their new style of sarees, although still rather chamak challo ... Kaumudi is looking very nice in a more understated elegant saree. Liked Chhanchhan's red and white color combination very much too ... very pretty!!!

So Mugut did finally drop the idea of taking Mayuri, and was forced to take Kaumudi ... considering Kaumudi had already been introduced to his businessmen colleagues, don't know how he planned to explain Mayuri's presence anyway ...
And Kaumudi passes the first hurdle ... walking in heels ... then the next ... shaking hands and saying thanks ... one awkward moment for Mugut when she knows his allergy, and he has no clue as to her favorite drink ...
And onto the final hurdle ... speech in English ...

Yes, Kaumudi will recover and finish her speech ...

I'm wondering about Mayui and Mayur Patel too ... since Mugut will probably go back to Kaumudi fairly quickly, they might put another spin to the Mayur Patel part ... I'll be happy if they turn it into a ChhanMan track and create some MU's ... hope they keep the focus on ChhanMan for the next 3-4 weeks.

And hope the TRPs go up! 😛

Wasn't 'Mayur" going away on a business trip, he delayed it to have lunch with her, so Mayuri needs to fill her time with Mughut. She needs a man, so whoever is available. My thoughts. 😆

Could be ... but they should have filled in those gaps and shown Mayuri thinking that. It does make sense ... and it still leaves the possibility of either ending Mayuri here, or continuing the Mayuri track and making it about ChhanMan ... the last track should be ChhanMan centred.

Mayuri's character still puzzles me... what does she want ? Money , Mukut , Mayur Patel or all of the above? I do not understand these characters at all -- Sonali puzzled me and Mayuri does too...fortunately all of them have less brains than CC so they are all eliminated from the fray!!

Looks like they will not take the Manthan route... he and wifey seemed to be happy today... so can we hope for a honeymoon track - waise train to wahi track pe chal rahi hai na😉

Ash, Kaumudi knows Gujerati ... toh makeover kaise hota? 😛

Mayuri is the kind of person who doesn't keep all her eggs in one basket ... lunch with Mayur, dinner with Mugut and tea with another ... think of how much money she saves on groceries! 😆

Manthan was not going to be about marriage issues, I think, it was going to be about his dissatisfaction in business ... but they will probably scuttle that track completely. Pity ... he's such a good actor, it would have been fun to watch. But if CC is winding up in a month, I want the last track to be ChhanMan centred ... with a MU about a MU that isn't ... since ChhanMan are joined at the hip and never have any MU's between them, there can only be a MU that there is a MU ... if you get my drift 😉

And they can end with Umaben sending them off on their long delayed honeymoon ... not that they really need one 😆

Today's epi was really nice. I hope Kaumudi has the courage to finish off the speech. Mansi's request was so sweet.

And you are right! this colonial hangover! I don't know if there is any treatment for this.. anyways, good that kaumadi succeeded to return to colonial era within shortest possible time! Anyways, I understand the CVs are in a hurry.. so she had to learn English under a 'crash program' .

I wanted Maitili and manav face-off! It would be really fun to watch that track..

Hope, in the next few days, the show concentrates on manav and CC and with some twits or fights or even misunderstanding... show some advances in their relationship..

That was a very sweet gesture by Mansi ... and it seemed to make Mugut think for the first time ... so that was good.

I don't mind Kaumudi learning English ... but I wanted more of a long term confidence program for her ... like starting a small tiffin business, or even holding cooking classes for young girls ... don't know if the cv's didn't think that way, or they didn't have enough time, so decided to wrap up this track quickly with an English Vinglish track ...

I hope Mayur Patel hasn't quite disappeared ... I want that Mayur Maithili face off to ... it would be hilarious! But whatever it is, with the show ending, I want the last track to be completely on ChhanMan. Hope the cv's are listening to this!
