OK, one more day of cute little Chanman sequences and I might just be able to make it through a 4 day weekend.😊
You're telling me ... I'm wondering on the other hand how I'm going to survive without a daily ChanMan dose now 😆
The cvs are definitely on the same wavelength as most of us. We've been saying it's all about self respect and that a woman is a woman first then she's all the relationships she has and that it's about changing the inside and not just the outside. Like CC said that it starts with the outside though because when you look good you feel good and the confidence starts coming in. I take back what I said about the precap of Kaumudi's makeover, she did look good...I guess that's the difference between watching precaps on a laptop and watching on TV. Unfortunately Sony doesn't think UK audiences should get precaps but we get a recap at the beginning of every episode which I'd be fine without.
I agree completely ... true confidence does start on the inside, but looking good makes a woman feel good ... am glad that Kaumudi's change is going to be about BOTH. That's something we have been saying since the beginning of the track, and I'm glad the cv's are listening. Also I'm very glad that the pallu has started coming off ... now the next step is for the bahus to start eating at the dining table with the entire family. And I hope that happens soon ... just to teach Kaumudi table manners. If she has been used to eating in the kitchen, she did not get the opportunity to acquire any ... that is the next step for me.
You've covered everything beautifully Dia and I don't have anything to add except for that it finally feels like I'm watching a show in which Sanaya Irani is the lead, until recently she seemed to be just another member of an ensemble cast. The trade off though has been less Supriya Pathak and I wonder if that's because of her weekend show or just the current track. I still want to see actual confrontations between the two after the Mugut (thanks cvs for putting the correct spellling on Mayuri's phone😊) track is sorted out. I'm definitely enjoying the cutesy relationship between the two and the fact that Manav is more involved in helping his wife (if daydreaming that a mannequin is his wife who looks like a fairy can be called helping😆...btw, he better have bought that white suit for CC).
LOL ... Manav was totally useless in the shopping trip 😛 ... all he was interested in was clothes for his own wife, not anyone else's 😉 Except that he could and did add his opinion to CC's ... considering that Mugut had expressed the same opinion for Umaben's earlier choice of saree, it made sense ... not only CC but also both Mugut and Manav think the same about gaudy sarees. Or maybe CC brought him along just because she wanted to ... 😉 I hope he bought that suit - he did disappear momentarily and then come back again just in time to end the shopping.
I also feel that we're seeing less of Umaben, and also, a much weakened clash of ideologies ... but if this is working better for TRP auntijis, then I'm okay with it. Umaben's character was the weakest part of the show, and Sony is a more progressive channel, so for them to have a regular saas bahu show anyway is unusual .. they might just turn it into a saas bahu working together, but with different methodologies ... I would prefer a lighter clash ... but I wouldn't mind more clashes in this vein, where Umaben is not malicious or nasty, but just different. Many older ladies do believe in all these things about mahurats, good time, temple visits etc ...
Ooh, how could I forget...I loved Mayur Patel with his sunglasses, pierced ear (is that new?)and goatee plus husky voice
He did well ... I will not admit I liked the beard 😉 ... but I liked the whole formal clothes and pierced ear look ... and he spoke well. Am glad to have an actor with good diction to match Sanaya's! 😃
