Awesome take, Ash 👏 Loved it ... and thanks so much ... read it as soon as I reached the hotel, I was hyperventilating wondering what had happened in Chhanchhan yesterday! 😆

So Sonali doesn't have much of a back story ... other than being willing to marry Manav if he was just married once, but she objects if he has another girlfriend tucked away as well ... did she and Thakkarbhai really swallow the part about Chhanchhan trapping him into marriage because of the Borisagar wealth? And isn't that what Thakkarbhai also wants - a wealthy husband for his daughter and a wealthy damaad for himself? So his motives and CC's are the same! Very confusing!

What I liked ...

Dadi asking where Manav was and why he hadn't come to drop CC ...

Dadaji asking about CC's family, since she had gone so suddenly to her maayka ... that was a sweet touch. Also DDji now wants tea made by CC only ... cute!!! 😛

CC and Manav missing each other ... so Manav did not go after CC after all ... and Kaumudi had to push him into going ... hmm, maa ka dikra is still winning over good husband ... more training needed.

Mukut-Kaumudi track continues to develop ...

CC has brains and uses them ... best part of the episode 😆 The parlour scene was ok, again I wondered at Sonali, she was ready to marry Manav even after hearing he was already married, but once she hears he is also a Casanova, she has doubts?
I am glad those curls for CC were only for the scene ... and are not going to be permanent. Would advise CC to avoid that parlour henceforth! 😆

The mandir scene was the best ... Thakkarbhai sounded and acted like a father of daughter finally, and finally developed doubts about whether he wanted this match or not ...
and CC gets to know the full extent of UB's duplicity and cunning ... including the fact that she was in cahoots with Thakkarbhai to plan the engagement fiasco too ... so she has never ever accepted Chhanchhan from the beginning. Sanaya's expressions in that scene were perfect ... shock and horror and grief and heartbreak all together ... as the knowledge sinks in that everything Umaben has done has been one big lie.

Chhanchhan is really at a crossroads now ... save her marriage? save Manav's relationship with his mom? Also bring out to the entire family that Umaben has been deceiving not just her, but all of them ?

And with the Mukut-Kaumudi track opening up in paralel, it seems that the Mukut-Kaumudi marriage was also an example of the same thing ... Umaben enforcing her choice on Mukut, with the difference being that he gave in or was forced or deceived into giving in ... and Umaben got a docile bahu of her choice, but an unhappily married son and a silently suffering DIL. So her sons' happiness does not seem to have importance in her eyes, as compared to the importance of keeping the family intact ... or her own fiefdom intact. The problem is that the family is intact only superficially ...

Can't wait to see how Chhanchhan handles this ... will she tackle Umaben first? Will there be a confrontation of the two feisty women? Chhanchhan's methods have always been very direct ... she doesn't believe in doing things deceitfully, this was a first ... but can she be so direct here?

🤗 Ash you did great, honestly for me the pace is fine for now. I'm the type who does not like things to be dragged out with completely unnecessary scenes incorporated in between. CC is on a mission and she got right down to business, I don't blame her for not wasting time, Manav is already wondering what is going on and she can only avoid him for so long.
I'm glad CC has seen UB true colors but now the real test begins on how she will prove this to Manav, I know she recorded everything but I've seen too many shows so I'm not getting hopes up that Manav will get to see that video anytime soon

Lovely take on an awesome episode Ash. I can't believe the pace of this show, it leaves me enthralled wishing all shows were like this and then scared because it makes me wonder what the cv's have in store for us that they're rushing to get to. The Kaumudi-Mukut track seems to be forced in. I was expecting it but much later as more of a filler to keep the show going but perhaps it will tie into the current track somehow. Perhaps the speed and the Kaumudi-Mukut track is to hook the trp audience, at least that's what I hope.
CC is a girl on a mission even if that means hurting Manav through fake fighting...Anuj was awesome in showing Manav wanting to talk to CC but obviously our girl has other plans and wants to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible. The scenes in the Sarabhai home were so realistic...I loved Dadiji being worried that CC had come unannounced with a suitcase but without Manav, such a natural reaction. I loved the way Manav showed up and was talking to CC on the phone while he was right behind her and how Simple the supportive good friend knows that CC doesn't want to be left alone with Manav at the moment calls the entire family over.
Clever CC puts a seed of doubt in Sonali's mind and somehow everyone ends up at the temple. I think the recording will show up later on once CC has managed to solve the situation perhaps without letting Manav know the whole truth and when everything is calm that's when Manav will come across it accidentally and feel betrayed by both his mom and his wife. Having said that I really have no idea though because the cvs have kept us on our toes continuously for weeks now and I can't think of a single way in which CC is going to solve this and keep the family together. Not telling Manav means she betrays him and telling him means she destroys the family. Even if she makes him promise not to leave home his feelings towards his Mom will change.
I actually don't have to much trouble in understanding Thakkar...it's all about status and standing in society and perhaps a lucrative business deal with the Borisagars. What's the happiness of some random girl when yours and your daughters future is at stake. He does love his daughter though because while he may have accepted UB's lies about CC and is happy for his daughter to marry a divorced man he's not willing to have his daughter marry a philanderer. Sonali it seems has bought in completely to the lies of her father and UB but then why shouldn't she until now they've given her no reason to doubt them, though it's a bit strange to be ok in marrying a man who married of his own free will whether or not he was trapped but I guess that's dramatic license.
Oh,I almost forgot...that temple scene is a prime example of why I fell in love with the acting talent of Sanaya Irani...every time she amazes me at how much more she says with her eyes than others do with page after page of dialogues.

Jaya -- the pace is scary really... I too guess that it is for the TRP audience... I guess that the Mukut-Kaumudi angle has been brought in to highlight to UB what happens when she interferes in a love match... CC does not know all of this yet... so she will most probably go back to the BS household , match UB now chaal for chaal since she knows her intentions and stumble upon this fact... and then use it to her advantage... that's the only way UB can atleast relook at her intentions and the damage her meddling has caused to another marriage...

But that means it is still coincidental... CC does not use the evidence directly... so not sure!
