Actually I was bracing for the worst, but episode was not bad. Uma Ben has really lost all perspective in her vindictiveness. She does not think of Chhanchhan as a family member to associate her humiliation with that of Borisagar's. For her Chhanchhan is an unnecessary appendage to the family which she is trying to remove. If Chhanchhan gives up on her own even better...

Glad they are showing Manav and Sarabhais. Liked the father-daughter conversation and the continued worry he has about Chhanchhan. When UB's real face comes to the fore and even before that when UB manages to create a crack in CC-Manav relation, I can see the Sarabhais playing an important role in support of Chhanchhan, especially the father.

Chalo Manav is back...would be interesting to see how he supports his wife because UB will continue her tricks.

Forgot to add, Sanaya was very good today, handling pallu, missing her hubby, trying to please, sentimental about dad, pretty much every scene.

Love the titles to your posts, they pretty much sum up these epis😛

I still feel they hv erred big time the way UB has been characterized and how she has shaped up so far. Cant decide whether she is a bigger fool than she is vindictive. Somewhere she doesn't quite make sense 😕 yet.

I'm starting to feel sorry for everyone in this house because they are stuck in a time warp., this includes UB despite the issues I hv with her characterization.

Seems like everyone is happy with the precap but BUT... Now that UB knows he sneaked into home (supposedly) will she mess with plans for the uninterrupted continuity of the love story😛 and go HALT!😲

CC's Dad is the only one who doesn't trust UB. And no one trusts his instincts, a day will come when they will regret not listening to him.

I agree all we have seen is Uma Ben's ego and pride which drives all her decisions, it is like she has no scruples...is there a reason for this?

UB is one sick women, poor CC. I really wish she finds out the truth about her 'lovely' MIL soon and then it'll be fun watching how they battle it out.
Aww, she's missing Manav, it must be so hard for a newly wed women to adjust in her new home without the support or even presence of her husband whom she needs most at this time.

Yayy, they showed the Sarabhai, oh how much I love that family, they are amazing.
Finally Manav will be back, that's a relief. Monday seems so far :(

Thanks for joining in ... it's good to have episode discussions now that the biggest problem is out! 😆

I'm so glad they are continuing to show the Sarabhais. In most shows, after marriage the girls' parents either disappear, or come in only as occasional guests ... as though they have washed their hands off their daughter. It's refreshing to see CC"s dad still worried about his girl, you totally get that he's ready to bring her back at a minute's notice if she is being ill-treated, and he won't stand for it!

Felt so bad for poor CC alone in her new sasuraal with no support at all That part was so true to life!

Liked some scenes a lot today ... The way CC was abt to share her issues with manav and then stopped , her prancing around infront of the mirror ... Sanaya was too cute in the entire episode today , loved the way she manages her pallu by putting it in her mouth ..

The sarabhai house scene was lovely , like the way the father reacted and called up channchann instantly ...sanaya looked lovely in the lime green saree ...

This is the first week when I felt all the 4 episodes were good and closer to what the PH had promised . I seriously want this show on friday also as 4 , 20 minute episodes feels like a weekend show ...

Thanks, Guinea 😊 I liked the entire episode ... minus Umaben's scheming ... that woman is bad news!

Sanaya was excellent again today ... from admitting truthfully about the rotimaker without any qualms ... now Umaben can't even say she hid the truth from her ... her nervousness about the saree was endearing ...
Loved the talk with Manav ... poor girl was dying to spill out everything that had happened and stopped herself ... hopefully she said enough to make him worried that all was not well with his beloved biwi and decide to rush home ... I love this besotted husband 😆

I also feel the execution has definitely tightened a lot this week ... it seems the PH is on firmer ground now that the real story has started. Both Sanaya and Supriya spoke of the story actually starting once CC enters the Borisagar house ...

indeed execution is awesome!⭐️

and now they got rid of the elephant in the middle of the room.. well hey can write any scene without wondering if one will do justice to it or not🥱

so another reason to become better definitely!!

phew is it just me or do we all feel as if the show and us has both been given a new lease on life!! thank god!

ps: updated on 1st page :)

What I liked in the conversation between CC and her dad was that CC is not scared of Umaben ... as in petrified of punishment like the other bahus are. It's more nervousness because she doesn't want to mess up ... she doesn't think of punishments like RS always do. So she was able to reassure her dad, even though he was ready to believe the worst after hearing about the rotimakers!
Of course, she has only seen the sugar and honey side of Umaben the last few days, so she's forgotten how vindictive and nasty she can be ...

Sanaya was excellent again today ... loved her in each and every scene!

Well I guess , UB needs to be scheming ...and her plans have to flop everytime , how else will the story progress...
I just find the girl so endearing ...enjoy watching her on my tv 4 days a week ... I am going to stop caring abt the trp's etc ...wheather the show lasts 6 months or for years ...we are lucky , we got to see sanaya within 4 months of her previous show ending ... i am just going to enjoy the journey ...

Answering you both together on this one ... I was wondering the same thing ... Umaben's characterization is a bit strange ... is it supposed to be all black? And what is driving her? ? Has Umaben lost all sense of family pride as well as proportion in her determination to throw Chhanchhan out? She does not stop to think that CC is now BS bahu and her humiliation reflects on the Borisagars too ... she seems to feel that since CC will be out in a matter of days, it doesn't matter. That might come back to bite her later ... I hope it does!

I get the feeling that the makers are also trying to show how outdated and senseless some of these customs are ... like keeping a pallu over the head at all times, insistence on wearing saree only after marriage ... even the ridiculousness of the munh dikhayi rasam came through ... it's rather silly actually! One has to move with the times, and one can do so while remaining in touch with your roots.

Wonder whether Manav has completed all his poojas and come back as fast as he could, or has bunked some of them 😆 Since the ostensible reason for CC not to join him was because she was tired, she has recovered enough to go with him if he is sent back 😛 ... so hopefully he will stay home now! Then what will Umaben do next? Should be interesting 😉
