Too many expectations, in a hurry to get sanaya and put the show on tv as well sanaya audience wants her in a power full love story as well no popular strong ml was choosen.

Even by replacing the ml will get trps up Farhan is improving with all these rumors how hoes that poor lad feel.

First strong story is needed

incorrect time slot

sanaya audience is different will not settle for a sas bahu show

show needs a punch honestly its getting better

stop trying so hard relax

work on direction lighting farhans body language

you should have got lalit/arshad to direct

as well sanaya is very powerfull now ml will be scared of her thinking its just a dikra show but for sanaya to succeed there has to be a love story along with her standing to her sas

i give this show 6 months even by changing ml it will not effect the trps.

sanaya made the EDITED INCORRECT CHOISE but she wanted to try another role,she should have gove for a very powerfull love story and JDJ .

A Love story like ok is starting same time as her show

I agree the story was assembled and casted in haste but I am a fan and I don't mind "saas-bahu". The genre is not my favorite but if done with the comedy the show originally injected it should appeal to a broader audience. In this sense, the story already had a punchy angle back then, for me.

Its true there is improvements and he will feel particularly rejected, but the consistency in a performance needs to be there, even if its of a newcomer level. Its unfortunate as the production team is not bending the story around him and something has to give or it breaks.

The show has a strong story and the reason why there is a positive buzz regarding it amongst people who don't watch Sony. And the time slot is perfect, as the competing shows can go to pack up. Its the matter of securing eyeballs now.

Lastly, how do you know what an actor is thinking [edit: that he or she made an incorrect choice]?

I just wrote this on another thread with a similar topic.

From her interviews I understand that she liked the narration given to her by makers and she wanted to do something other than passionate love stories. Even a veteran and talented actress like Supriya Pathak gave her nod to this show.

I think she was offered two shows and other was a love story. If she did another love story, comparisons would have been even more, this show has not escaped that either. The kind of chemistry Sanaya shared with her ex co-actor is very unique and cannot be replicated to that level again and again.

She wanted to try another genre from her previous two shows and family dramas, with saas, bahu and joint family is a huge chunk of Indian shows. If one wants to be in Indian television industry, sooner or later he/she will be part of it. So, it is better for Sanaya to take up a show where at least she will not have a regressive role.

Even before Chhanchhan was announced, there were some articles criticizing Sanaya that she always sticks to love stories, now no one will say that.

In Chhanchhan, she is playing the title role, so writers have to pay attention to her scenes and dialogues, if they want this show to pick up.

She chose a show from a reputed production house, which has made successful family dramas before. So, they are not novice.

Finally, the key is execution and treatment of the story, as most Indian telly shows are predictable (even Sanaya's previous show was), and that is not in her hands. She is working hard, and I have not read one report which said that Sanaya is not doing well.

I think she is trying to transition into more mature roles, and this is a step towards it. I appreciate the fact that she is trying to expand her repotire in a space where choices are very limited. She is trying to avoid regressive characters. This is an experiment for her in terms of production team, channel, and genre as much as it is for her fans. Some experiments fail and others succeed, but if she does not choose variety than she will never grow and will be slotted in one category by media and viewers.

Round of applause from my side to her for being brave, as she knows what her fanbase wants (clear from TS interview), yet trying to break the mould. Hoping her hard work pays off.

There are lots of new shows which are being launched, but not everything is offered to Sanaya, she picked from what she got.

i am not worries about predictability cause all shows are
the epis have to be gripping. and execution is what matters most

i love the show coz Sanaya is there.
i started for her and will catch this show till end only for her.
it seems that story going much better than before.
i trust sanaya decision as she has faith that the real story still needs to bulid up..!!
and at last my thought is that makers have strong things to show to audience ahead.

Too many rumors are no Good.

They need to give a united interview for whats happening and we as fans need to respect and give time to the ML and move forward.

Just hope Direction and Execution is played in an Excellent manner.

Again we the IF are not the trp audience.

Most of us are international audience or Online group I wish our trps counted

I agree with you to a certain extend!

I watch this show only because Sanaya is in it!

But, honestly, I don't think the real problem lies in just one actor!

There are actors even in Starplus, the top channel, who can't act at all!

I agree that FK is not that great and acting opposite Sanaya is no big deal but blaming him for the bad TRP is just not reasonable.

PH should first focus on their story and execution! This is what attracts audiences to watch any show! To be honest, I was attracted to Sanaya's previous show because of the story not because of the actors in it! I did not even watch any Hindi drama before that! Sanaya's previous show was my first Hindi drama! Then only I grew to like Sanaya and her co star as actors! So, blaming an actor for the downfall of a show is just not right!

However, if this news is true, I'm happy as well I really want Sanaya to act opposite a good actor and if this change really brings about a change in the TRP, then I'm totally in for it!
