Honestly, in the heat of the moment I don't see how you would react any other way anyways, its your parents. A lot can happen when you are sitting on emotions.

I know of educated and economically independent men and women buckling under emotional blackmail from family, not such a rare occurance. The only difference is speed, but hear the creatives want to come to the main story as fast as possible,and I say bring it on!
