Ever since Manav found out that his mere presence annoys the shit out of her, he did everything he could to get on her nerves.
Chhanchhan busted into the classroom through the door and had a victorious smile on her face but it suddenly dropped and her jaw clenched when she saw him standing at the desk right behind the one that she wanted to sit at.
Manav's eyes fell on Chhanchhan and an immediate conniving smirk formed on his lips.
Chhanchhan looked between him and the desk. There was still a chance she could get to it. She zig zagged her way through the desks but it really was to no avail. Manav was already sitting at the seat, pretending to not notice her.
"Manav, what is your actual problem?! Get out of my seat! I've been sitting here since the beginning of the semester and for the last two weeks, for some reason, you've had a stick up your ass!"
"I have a stick up my ass? Am I the one reacting over a chair?!"
Chhanchhan slapped her hand on the table and leaned down close to him. "Get. Out. Of. My. Seat."
"Bite me," Manav said with a grimace.
"Settle down everyone," the teacher said as she came in. Chhanchhan looked around and found the only available seat next to Manav. She sat down and gave him a disgusted look.
Chhanchhan was highly irritated with the way Manav would look at her every so often, just to annoy her.
At one point she turned her head and glared at him. "Do you want me to rip your eyes out? 'Cause I would not mind."
Manav snorted a laugh which made the teacher look at them. "Please pay attention, you two."
Chhanchhan did just that. After a few minutes, Manav was getting bored so he decided to amuse himself. He discreetly pushed his pen off the table until it fell on the floor.
Chhanchhan looked down when she heard it then looked up at him. "Aren't you going to pick that up?"
"It's not mine," he said. Chhanchhan gave him a weird look. "What do you mean it's not yours? I saw it fall off your desk!"
Manav turned his head and gave her a vicious look. "Listen Chhanchun, I have a back problem so I can't bend."
"It's Chhanchhan! And...if you have that big of a problem then here," she leaned own and picked up the pen.
She held it towards him and Manav held one end himself. He tried to grab it forcefully but Chhanchhan had a tight hold on it herself.
"Manav, say thank you!" She hissed.
"I don't think so," he said and tried to tug again. Chhanchhan pulled it back towards herself. "Say it! I'm not your servant!"
The teacher finally had enough of this. "What is the problem Chhanchhan and Manav?!"
"Miss, she took my pen! She won't give it back!" Manav said with a frown and Chhanchhan's mouth dropped open in disbelief.
"Chhanchhan, give him his pen back right away!" The teacher said, irritated.
"Miss I didn't do anything!" Chhanchhan tried to say in her defence. She put the pen on Manav's desk and avoided looking at him.
Manav pretended to hold back a laugh. Chhanchhan tried to keep her cool but when her patience ran out she hissed loudly, "Shut up!"
"Manav and Chhanchhan, enough! Both of you leave this class and wait outside until I invite you back in. This is not a playground for your games!" The teacher said, being completely fed up with them.
They both got up and left the class, both walking away from it too considering that the teacher was in the middle if a lesson anyways so she wouldn't be checking on them anytime soon.
"You're welcome," Manav said with a smirk and Chhanchhan stared at him incredulously.
"Thanks for what? For getting me in trouble? You're really a douchebag Manav."
Chhanchhan gasped when Manav pulled her harshly from her arm and plastered her against the wall. Chhanchhan tried to push him away but he curled his fingers around hers and held them down to her sides.
"Don't you get it? Are you really that stupid?"
"What are you talking about?!" Chhanchhan asked, completely confused.
"You always make it seem like you're so smart but you don't even get the obvious things."
"Look Manav, if you don't let go I will use my self defence knowledge and crush something very precious for you."
Manav stared at her for a moment then lightly chuckled. "Kamal hai," he whispered, more to himself but Chhanchhan heard nonetheless.
He let go of her hands and backed away, smirking as she marched away from him.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
