in mohit's defense i'd say he may not be an exceptional actor but was always easy on the eyes😆(as samrat atleast ).i took to him from the very start which hasn't happened with farhaan despite one whole week ...when it comes to sanaya i guess i tend to be over critical and refuse to settle for anything but the best ... be it her character or her co star everything comes under the scanner...i have an opinion abt farhaan only coz it indirectly affects sanaya otherwise i wouldn't really bother abt him

oh don't even get me talking abt fawad 😳he is easily the best tv actor ever...he's just something else and it would be extremely foolish of me to expect to find that kind of brilliance everywhere (it's rare) ...truth be told even i have given up on indian shows i thrive on pakistani dramas and western shows for my entertainment ..the only reason this show commands my interest is because of sanaya ...i have seen fawad and i have also seen the work of someone like say an imraan abhaas who's not too consistent in his performances(he's pretty decent but there are times when u see a dip in his performances)...i don't think it's just brilliance that strikes a chord with u sometimes u take to imperfection too...ofcourse i am not as bonkers over imraan like i am over fawad but nevertheless like him...what i am meaning to say here is i can even do with someone who's easy on the eyes he need not always have to be brilliant ..coming to farhaan i hope for our sake .he improves😆 ...oh yeh kunal is good too haan...very natural... it's a pity it took so many years for people to take notice of his talent he's been around for long now ...if one could rub off some talent on him he should start hanging out with supriya ji and sanaya 😆

oh by that i meant most sought after actors...arjun sadly doesn't fit into that category any longer...our mjht girls have paced far ahead be it sanaya or rati the boys are still struggling to establish a foothold after their project post mjht fared badly ...these days u only hear abt sobti ksg tacker wahi gautam and the rest

the other day i saw some improvement...he is kinda ok in his long shots but when it comes to close ups it needs a lot of work(i have noticed even the makers steer clear from close ups but when they get into the romantic zone i am sure close ups are going to be crucial)...for someone with a theater background i must say his work is disappointing.i have seen rank newcomers perform better than this guy who has some experience in acting...i remember watching the first few episodes of surveen guggal and i thought shivin narang with no acting experience whatsoever was pretty good...and i can think of a lot of actors who were good from the word go...farhaan is really bad in close ups he just wears this single expression throughout ... dialogue delivery theek thaak hain.but an expressionless actor i am not sure how long that would work ...the makers have made a big mistake i think any of the other contenders were way better than farhaan...sanaya surely deserved someone better ...her contemporaries have way better co stars and i think that adds to their work too ...unfortunately for san she is stuck with farhaan she deserved someone wayyy better

Interesting discussion here ... I am sitting on the fence as of now ... I agree with Sonu that I am not very impressed with Farhan till date. Considering the noise he made about turning down shows earlier, having done theater and films, I expected much better.
I agree that there is a difference in doing live stage plays and movies ... in stage plays, close-ups and actors' expressions are not as important as body language and voice modulation, so I expected Farhan to do well in at least the latter two departments. And the director seems to be avoiding close ups of Farhan's expressions for the moment, probably for the same reason.
But Farhan has not been all that impressive in the voice modulation department either, although his dialogues are clear and audible ... that much I will give him. So I think he has a long way to go. His problem is that he is pitted against very good actors, so in comparison he falls way short.

In MJHT, Mohit and Arjun were both average actors ... (sorry to Arjun fans, but I don't think Arjun is that great an actor either) ... both Rati and Sanaya were far better. But Sanaya was not that good at the start of MJHT either, she improved over the first 3-4 months. She was doing a role which was the complete opposite of what she was, so it was tough for her to get into the character ... she took time as well. And she has grown further during IPK, so now she is leagues ahead of what she was in MJHT.

Mohit also improved with time during MJHT, so am hoping Farhan will improve too ...
Otherwise, he can be replaced ... without much noise 😛 ... the two actors who are irreplaceable on the show are Sanaya and Supriya, everyone else can be changed. Though the rest of the supporting cast is growing on me ... I like CC's daadi, mother and father, and I liked the three sons of Uma Ben, maybe because I have seen them and liked them in earlier shows.

You need to give him some time. The role of the character will develop and he will get better. It's just the growth wise everyone just needs to give him a chance and soon everyone will start liking him because his acting skills will develop for the better.

hmm..Farhaan did improve a lot.But what i don't get is why the makers chose him when there were so many other choices.Its always a gamble with newbies. But sometimes it pays off...Farhaan is very awkward on screen..I guess we should give him some time..

i dont think we can comment now.. i can see a bit improvement that then 1st day.. so lets hope he will give his best in future

i totally agree about the mjht actors.the girls were way better and even the more versatile ones who could be molded into any character...coming to farhaan i know he's putting in efforts ...but are those good enough i don't think so...and i somehow fail to understand the whole funda abt being patient with him(he isn't new to the art of acting and his art must hold some credibility so as to have made it through 100's of aspirants if that is the case then why can't i judge him and his skills he did go through the filtration right and why am i expected to accept mediocrity just coz he's a rookie that's honestly not my problem )...some actors manage to come out of their shell only after their second third show and honestly we can't afford to wait all that long ...i am saying he's bad for now if he manages to improve nothing better than that .. i will judge him for his work now ...for me acting is all about the eyes and with farhaan it all in his body language and nothing as far as the facial expressions go...the ones like us who are net savvy may still be patient with his shortcomings but what abt the demographic that actually matters ...for them all they'll see is whether the lad can act or no...the makers made a bad choice i reckon ...and honestly for me what matters is whether an actor performs why should i look into the fact that he's a rookie or ten shows old...i am judging him by in work today and not what he might or might not become afterwards...

ditto i guess aprt from the primary cast supriya and sanaya the secondary cast is also fab...i am really warming upto the actress that plays san's mom..she fab ...the story needs to be more crisp and there is something that's missing ...also they need to work on san's character big time(they are somehow not doing justice to the character) ...
