I think there was a similarity in mannerisms that came from the fact that Sanaya was told to be herself when it came to Khushi and Chhan Chhan in Sanaya's own words is very similar to who she herself is. The one major difference that was already apparent was that the mannerisms were not as exaggerated as they were for Khushi. The exaggeration worked for Khushi and the normalcy for CC. We all loved KKGSR and were familiar with every tiney nuance and expression Sanaya gave that obviously we are going to see a version of those reactions in CC after all Sanaya still has the same face even though she has a much much better look here. KKGSR is unforgettable and if anyone can repeat that with another character then it can only be done by Sanaya Irani.

The thing that is similar though is the way she hold her cheeks remain me of Khushi like this here.

But other than that I never fell I wasn't seeing Khushi here it was ChanChan all the way. It's the same Happy Go lucky girl with a different theme though but like Sanaya said we should give the show time to settle in because to be quit honest here none of the Hindi Soaps first episode give good impression not even IPK didn't impressed me in it's first episode.

Oh yeah their dressing and style is obviously sooo different...! Like Sanaya said, Khushi was from a small town while ChanChan is brought up in the big city. So you're quite right in that respect.

I toh loved that gif. She's C.U.T.E.

Oh and I didn't watch IPKKND until Khushi was working in Raizada mansion..

Khushi's character is something I am hung up on for all my life

Oh yes I certainly agree that ChanChan shall carve her own niche.

I must add though that I was never impressed by Khushi's character as much as you are.. I think ChanChan will be a much stronger and well-developed character. This is interesting cuz it tells us how each viewer might interpret a single character in contrasting lights..

Nobody in real can be like Khushi, except for some characteristics like being little crazy and love for family.But the self sacrifice and extent of unconditional love is unreal.(though nice to see on screen)

Chhanchhan takes on more realistic characteristics. Her interactions with all the characters was very natural and real. She does things lie a normal girl of today.I hope the CVs keep it like that.

Indeed. ChanChan is very close to reality. I have to agree to that.

Now that I am thinking about it.. you're so right.. This marks a significant difference between ChanChan and Khushi. While Khushi was extremely traditional, ChanChan pays the necessary respect but makes sure to stick to her own principles. This tells me ChanChan would have reacted sooo differently in the scene when Khushi gets slapped by her mother and taunted by everyone else for marrying Arnav secretly. Very true indeed. Good point.

Honestly speaking whatever role Sanaya plays I just fall in love with her 😳... Ofcourse the way she transformed herself from gunjan, the quiet girl to Khushi impressed me but that doesnt mean I started comparing them both.. i just loved both the character coz there was a purity in both of them..

Same like that maybe coz we knew she was portraying a diff role now, Chanchan I just fgt everything and took her as chanchan herself 😳 maybe this was why there wasn't any comparison betw her and khushi for me but as someone mentioned the way she hold her cheek did remind me of khushi but thats it !

Be it gunjan or khushi, both of them will always hold a special place in our heart but now its time for us to look at her as chanchan 😳.. as long as we can see her ever smiling face i got nth to complain😳

Sonya as Sanaya herself said a week back 'whether I laugh as Chhan Chhan or Khushi it is obviously going to be Sanaya who is going to do it! I wil still obviously be me..'

and yes i guess she has an uphill task.. cz even i in all honesty show some little characteristics of Khushi in Chhan Chhan in the first episode.. And she will have a hard time shaking them off considering a little bit of her own characteristics were used for Khushi and will naturally happen more for Chhan Chhan..

But due to her very modern portrayal which is like night and day from Khushi..
her way of calling a spade a spade even if it is an elder and not be resctricted cz of traditional outdated concepts of youngsters keeping quiet even when elders are wrong.. those things will differentiate the two..

also eventually CC is a little bit more restrained than Khushi.. her face is less mobile if u see. She doesn't make those weird but adorable cute expressions anymore at every second u see..

anyway it is gonna be an uphill task which i have confidence in Sanaya to achieve successfully!!!

Another boy? wow!! u know Sonya i have been on IF for god knows how long.. But Sanaya is the only celeb i see so many male fans of hers who are on IF drooling on her!!

We really need to make a list one of these days cz i know so many!!

I feel soo happy and honored Ofcourse it was like i was writing an essay on topic "Sanaya" 😆.. but seriously whatever form she was/is she is soo bOotiful mann and I know Johny and have seen him around.. I would say she is a huge fan aswell 😃 makes me happy when so many ppl love sanaya so much from their heart
