When Sanaya made the move from Gunjan to Khushi...We all remarked what a transformation. The idea that it's the same girl who played Gunjan took quite sometime to sink in. The characters were truly poles apart and hence the momentary disbelief that Sanaya played both the characters so flawlessly.

Seeing ChanChan for the first time last night made me think that she has elements of Khushi. Did you feel the same way? Well that's not surprising because ChanChan has quite a bit in common with Khushi. This made me think of the challenge involved for Sanaya to break away from Khushi. When she was cast as Gunjan by almost the same team, they demanded that such should be Sanaya's performance that the audience forgets Gunjan's portrayal. Sanaya successfully achieved this goal without doubts. My question would be will she be able to recreate the same impact given the difficulty involved - ChanChan and Khushi's similarities?
