@Ash-Ash: Thanks! It really is the two name show, accompanied by that crazy CC background music. Having gone thru a couple of show openers in quick succession, I have a new appreciation for a much reviled PH and the voldemort of desi TV. In fairness though, that one probably also took its time to warm up. It's just that we're enveloped in the hazy glow of warm memories! Perhaps there's hope yet? 😃

as far as the show is concerned, i will be watching it only for SI😳 i will be very honest, i am not a soap person and this show is not my type. the temple face off however good had me speculating over my own sanity! am i actually watching a show with this theme? par kya kare...i am a total sell-out when it comes to few people😆 kuch bhi jhelega to watch the charming Irani...only that my own girl gang should never find out!🤣

that reminds me of the gurl-gang in the show chanchan and her girl-fraands🥱 tone down girls...i mean even i have friends! we dont stand and do a "hum ne li hai shapath" nor do we group hug over exciting sarees or for that matter after very two sentences! 😳

MIL-DIL😛 it is a very good thing that they got a veteran like Supriya Pathak to play the role. she nailed the arrogance perfectly today and more than made up for the screechy BG tone and bad make up! Ya-Ya are indeed very good! both are powerful actresses and i am sure they will make the show watchable and more enjoyable for me👍🏼

i am glad that this show is not an out and out love story standards have been raised and i really dont have the energy for a compare-reminisce. i only recently tried a distant swaami jee's offering and it fell flat! a laid back easy entertainer definitely gets a 👍🏼 from me!

i would love if the show has a comic approach...SI/SP will nail it perfectly! ya-ya will deffo rock!⭐️

Since half the jalebi is in this show, I had to give it a true.

First day, first show, and I was happy seeing Sanaya back, but the show itself seems nothing groundbreaking as of yet.

The pros:

1) Sanaya Irani : Its so good to have her back. She fits the role of Chhanchan to the T. She still has some Khushi residue left in her, but that's acceptable considering she really hasn't had enough time yet to shake Khushi off completely after playing her for 1.5 years. I love Chhanchan already, and extra points for not dressing her in atrocious velvets, and horrible wigs.

2) Supriya Pathak : She is perfect for this role. Her portrayal of rich, strict, matriarch came off more as quirky, than your typical vampish saasu ma. As you said, YaYa are whats keeping this boat sailing.

3) PoochPooch: How cute is that dog. I am shipping for PooChhan.

The cons:

1) The new Chotey (Saab): I know its too early to pass a judgement, but what I saw did not impress me. He needs to pull his socks up, since he is up against two of the finest actors of TV industry. He is supposed to a rich spoilt brat but was channeling catty bimbo instead with his "Excuse me! Ewww you like have like a doggy named like PoochPooch! L-O-L what kind of name is Chhanchan anyway. Like Oh-Em-Gee *Squeal*"

2) The Sahelis : Tone it down. Seriously.

Oh and thank the Lord I was not the only one who was stuck in Deja-Vu land, what with the scooty, and the the hero take off his aviators in slow-mo for his first shot.😆

As you said, they need to promote this show as a saas-bahu one, 'cause the saas and the bahu will be the ones carrying the show. For once, I kinda just want the hero to be a typical dikra. Hey but you never now, he may improve with time :)
