Good afternoon ladies. Just dropped on the off chance that soemone might be in here.. Saw the episode at leisure this morning, while the entire house was asleep except for my kid who was to busy with his Ben10 to really pay mom any attention.

While Ridhima was her brilliant illogical self, I think I can understand some of where she was coming from on the staircase. While a woman of greater maturity and security may have handled it better (and dont we know that Ridhima doesn't fall in that category?), I can understand, though not appreciate, some of what she is going through.(There is a possibility that after reading this, Anu might def kill me and some of you might like to join in as well!!)

While creatives may have rushed thru the adoption bit, she has gone through a tremendous emotional upheaval, Armaan let her down with the bet business, and, then she felt the need to lash out at him cos even he was aware of her adopted status while she was blissfully unaware.

Now while she has accepted that she loves the guy, she still has to deal with her fears, and a very real one being that she is not Armaan's type. While she may have used the term "seedha sadha" I think both Armaan and she know what she is talking about. In that context, his numerous relationships, his obvious ease in and his enjoyment of women's company, his reputation as a skirt chaser, and the inability to really believe that he could love her, probably drives her inner demons which she grappling with. Hiding the relationship could be one way of avoiding the heartache, embarresment if things dont work out (someone needs to tell her that in relationships you need to take risks!!)

When Armaan forces the issue, her instinct for self preservation makes her lash out with that stupid, inane comment about her having a re-think. I doubt if she really meant it, it was the only hurtful thing she could think of saying when the guy is shaking her with exasperation and trying to force her hand in revealing their relationship.

Her obvious repentence immediately after he leaves, her unhappiness at being ignored are indications of the fact that she loves the guy but being the stubborn, opiniated person that she is, she is unable to back down or reach out. Even the line "to kyon nahi karte ho" to me sounded more like a plea to have things get back to normal rather than asking the guy to run after her again.

But all said and done, every human being has their own demons and insecuirities and has to learn to deal with them, and, so must Doc Ridhima. Otherwise, she might find herself having the lost the one thing which means the most to her..

All the time what I am wondering is say if there was no AM fiasco...and there was no Rcccc knowing it and breathing down A's neck...would A have reacted the same as his did now...??I guess he would have gone a bit easy on it..my feeling...thats all...so the question is it the Rccc and M factor which is pushing him over the edge or is it really R..as far as I c it..I guess A and R were pretty content with each others way of handling AR...basically its R's propensity to run away from him at every opportunity that made him more and more attratced to her in the first place..which was different to him from other girls in his life who used to be too easy for him..but R was the first real challenge for him..and finally he fell head over heels for her..and now he is finding that same charateristic of R too tough to handle.

@Manu: Nice observation....sometimes I too feel am I being too biased towards Ridhima because of our Pro-Armaan stance......I agree with everything you have said....more so I feel AR need to break up...because I think Armaan has done anything and everything for her to rid her of her insecurities....but if she is still feeling it...then its her turn to deal with it all by herself and sort it out....do self introspection.....or else either Armaan should ask or Ridhima should say what should Armaan do for her to feel secure....I bet she won't have an answer to that either....she seriously needs to help herself now.....I don't think anyone can help her remove those insecurities except herself...

I loved Armaan while he's at the party hoping that Ridhima would appear. For a man who's spent the last few months pining for this woman, it must be frightening to live with the possibility that she may not end up coming, and, he has to follow through with what he left unsaid....

But the greatest thing about the episode was to see Dr Armaan back to form... Notty, hope the bubbly was good last night!!

I agree they've really screwed (pardon the language) up her character, but I think she ends up gets maligned and disliked all the more courtesy the sympathy that Dr Armaan generates.. of course, the character does everything possibile to aid and abet the process!!!
