Yes its true that der se hi sahi but the deserving ones always get their due. What I witnessed on twitter might have irked me but I have also learnt that one hit wonders do not sustain for long. Instead the ones who slowly get steadily win admirers with hard work and persistence and up thriving. Also fame gained on the basis of offscreen shenanigans is fleeting.

At the end of the day,it's always about the numbers.Moreover not many have the ability to gain numbers while having to carry an entire show on their own which Danish has done more than once. I am quite unfamiliar with the terrain of industry politics so him getting snubbed is a mystery to me. I would like to know the theory you and shopaholic discussed though.

And yes. Yeh banda hai toh lambi race ka ghoda. I sincerely pray that what you believe in comes true and he gets something beyond everyone's expectations.

Lastly I can go a bit overboard at times while venting out. So please do not get alarmed or just tell me directly if anything I say ever makes you guys uncomfortable 😆

If an artiste (actor, singer, whomsoever) gets super hyped after one project, it usually fizzles out while their limited chidhiyaghar stans are the only ones raving about them.

@bold: Seconded. That only leads to fans focusing on you due to your off screen situation, not what projects you're working on. Once that hype is gone, the people are also gone.

I had listed Danish's last few projects and almost all his Geo shows had done wonders in terms of numbers. Ab Dekh, Mera Rab Waris, even Rubaru Tha Ishq, Deewangi (ofc) and Meharposh. I think even Jaanbaaz must've done well, not extraordinarily great because that channel doesn't get TRPs, but certain episodes on YouTube have hit at least a million views. A Plus's last hit seems to be Haara Dil only.

Danish understands this concept of numbers very well and knows that's what will get him more work. Content is one thing, but if there is no viewership, then there is no profit.
