Lakhimpur case is completely gone from the media, not even mention of it now, the drama they wanted since the beginning of reporting what Aryan is eating, what's his barrack number and whats his prisoner number has finally started. Fortunately, Most lawyers from Supreme Court are saying that NCB arrested him in bailable offences so now they are just leveling charges here and there to keep him in prison

One SC lawyer said that the judge in lower court fears giving bail to the accuse therefore the case will most likely go to HC

Here’s what my lawyer friend on another IF forum has said:

“likhne mein time lagta hai guys, abhi toh he is a celeb, bail docs jaldi ho jayenge, otherwise we run from one place to another with documents, make the signing authority sit for long and then jail ke Bahar wait, ki nikalen prisoner ko”

Bookmarking this.

25 pages from previous thread to read and 13 additional pages here. My nights are getting interesting.

On a serious note, somehow we knew this was gonna happen. 😒

The decision has been reserved so they cannot go anywhere because their matter has been heard by court, now they have to wait for a decision.

If they had rejected the bail today then they could have gone to HC, SC won't take up the matter before HC

A silly question but I hope someone can answer.

Is it enough to claim to have proof against the accused in front of the judge- are they not required to provide evidence of the said proof in the sessions court?

I did not follow the live hearing minute by minute so pardon me if they did provide evidence and I just missed it.

I mean, even if I try to believe that NCB is onto something, so far they have given me no reason to think they do. All they say is that they will eventually somehow find out the links- this shows that they have nothing concrete as of now. And it’s not like they haven’t had enough time to interrogate- they had the time and they didn’t interrogate so what exactly do they want to achieve by keeping him in…apart from the obvious?

And if Aryan is indeed such a big “druggie” as is being claimed, surely he must have started withdrawing by now- are you telling me that the media which somehow manages to find out what he is and and what he’s not eating inside the jail, have not had a whiff of him withdrawing?

nothing makes sense. I want to, I really do want to trust the system…but the system has to give me a reason to. So far, I have none.

Also, the NCB claims they want to keep him in so that they can use him to get to the bigger fish, without risking Aryan tampering with evidence or whatever by letting him go.

But they media trial that they themselves have made out of the case- anyone they’re even trying to catch must have fled by now and handled all possible evidence available against them?

Am I even making sense? The whole thing is so exasperating!
