Oprah, when all this is over, needs a special invitation to Mannat. However, a part of me wonders: will the international viewership watch such an interview? Will Shah&GK's interview have the same impact that Harry & Meghan's had? Will the non South Asian viewership care?

I think this problem with authoritarian government is happening many places and those who are aware are most concerned about their own home. In the US we have our own huge anti-democracy factions trying to destroy the constitution and country as I knew it. It’s hard to care about overseas unless you have a vested interest like I have with family still in India. So no unfortunately I don’t think non South Asian viewership would care even if it was on Oprah.

How did NCB know within such a short timeframe (maybe couple of hours from the point of arrest to their release) that they need NOT be investigated in this matter? How did they arrive at that conclusion so fast?

In his defense it seems like it has been done in the past and he cited cases where it had. He is probably used to having the courts be more easy with his rich clients. I mean for example I don’t know if you follow she who must not be named and all her different legal cases but she has basically just stonewalled or outright ignored multiple courts in multiple different cases including cases that are criminal not civil and the courts threaten her with arrest, etc but her lawyer shows up and spouts nonsense and the judge backs off. I think in most circumstances Indian courts are like that. Rich client, fancy lawyer, easygoing judge. This case is clearly different which is part of the reason it’s so obvious that it’s not really about the charges but who the defendant is.

I swear I saw in aaj tak today around 7pm.time that Aryan apparently said he consumed cocaine for 4 yrs and hid drugs in his shoes. I blinked and the name changed to merchant guy for shoe part but that cocaine part he confessed it seems. Wtf is that true, when did that happen?

Majority media houses are like ye dekho drugs leke phas gya and surprisingly aaj tak had a segment right after ^^^^ if Aryan was trapped. They showed the ncp conferences and all.
