Again, marging my replies...

Yaar, this pancake theory never gets old. Like you know I bhatkofy a lot. So today I went to Ghum forum and one post seriously irritated me. Like people this days have this tendency to romanticize/sexualize every single thing. Wanted to rant but then felt, it's getting repetitive from my side.
And another thing I noticed is the amount of drama. Like... we usually blame the TRP aunties ki unhe masala chahiye hota hain isi liye mainstream mein zyada yeh sab dikhate hain. But this so called young audience are no less.
You would have noticed, all the remade shows that are airing now, most of them have a thread where people discuss about the other versions. So I noticed in Ghum that a lot of time they keep expecting the intense scenes that were shown in the other versions.
To ek intense scene tha KD pe jaha after throwing Imon out of the house, Rono realizes his mistake and goes to take her back but she refuses. And later he goes on to a mission where he gets slightly injured. But Imon almost loses it and she breaks down and bla bla bla.
Since it is one of my most favorite scenes I checked the scene in Hindi version too.
Believe me, I didn't expect Ayesha to be as good as Modhumita (KD) because first of all, M was already an established actress and had tons of experience while A is a newcomer. Besides, being a Bengali myself and KD being the original version, I am biased towards the original.
What caught my attention was the dramatization here and how people went gaga over it. And there are a lot of scenes which are yet to be shot and people here are like Neil and Ayesha are so awesome, they will make the scenes more meaningful. I was like - are you kidding me?
I could still understand Rono because he was always a bit reserved and it made sense because logically there is huge age difference between an IPS officer and a 18 years old. He had been more like a guardian than her husband for the longest time.
And here they keep showing Virat to do aansu bahaoing and getting all involved and what not.
And people make multiple posts on these silly things, I mean Sharam Karo Yaar!
Again there are instances where I have read people highlighting certain shows and the reasoning is pure childish. I know everybody has his/her free will but fake kyun karna? Favorite ki liye to bakwas hum bhi dekhte hain par itna to nahi chhekte ki groundbreaking hain ya best hain. To yeh kya pagalpan hain?

I agree on everything that you have said about Ridz. In fact, I saw some promo where Ridz shot Vansh and then she had this scene with him where she had this badass attitude so I expected some mind-games and got excited thinking they have upped their game after shifting to Voot.
But now it seems like Rits is some dur ke rishtedar of our Ved who never learns from her mistakes.
