How about a debate sort of write-up where we can include both pros and cons of every sphere of cinema?

One more suggestion is we can make 3 posts. First one would be the positive impact. Second would be the negative impact and last would be a generalized opinion based on the pros and cons and also conclusion

Another suggestion

If we can all share our personal experiences or our friends', of course they can be fictional and include the pros and cons in those? Though it looks like a tough job, going by the topic😳

For example: how the quality content has deteriorated over a period of time and pandemic has shifted the audience from the theatres to the OTT platforms and the competition has increased due to this, so the pressure on the makers has increased. As a result, the quality has gone up by a notch.

The above situation could be explained through someone's pov who works for these platforms or is an industry insider?

It's just a suggestion. We can drop it if you people find it tedious or ridiculous?😅

I'm just a bit confused so I'm going to ask some questions here. What do you mean by personal experiences? Like our own thoughts on the pros and cons of the pandemic's effect on cinema?

For insider experience, we would need friends on the inside. I do have a few people on FB, but I wonder if any of them would even share these kinds of experiences. And technically they aren't like close friends. They are just people that I follow and instead of having follow pages, they have regular FB accounts so they are added as friends on FB.

In this personal experience, we can write about what all of us in this group preferred to watch during the lockdown. If it's itv show then which itv show like mytho or drama (no need to give names of shows). If it's movie or webseries then which of these we watched more and why.

No, no, don't get confused. What I meant in the above post is that I as a reader would like to read about people personal experiences. So was wondering if we can apply the same here too?

By no means, they've to be real, anything we can make up on our own version of experience. Like a movie freak can explain the situation about the content, quality or an overall experience of before and after pandemic cinema.

While the negatives like people losing their jobs, cast and crew who are working under such critical circumstances can be explained by an insider who's observing the whole from inside.

What I basically mean is write up can be completely done by the team, but in a way that a person is reciting an incident or his experiences of what he observed. The person does not have to real. It'll just for the indulgence of audience, in no way involvement of any real insider is necessary.

I hope I'm able to explain it. If not, please feel free to ask. :)

Ah okay that makes sense. Then we could make that a third/fourth (basically last) post. First the facts, then the conclusion, then some personal experiences. I like that idea.

What does everyone think? And how do you want to divide the work?

Perfect. Can we keep the conclusion for the last post?

I can help with the graphics and also with write-up. Let's wait for others. :)

I was thinking about the comparison of before and after pandemic things. We can follow this format with ITV and webseries too.
