Wow wow wow, what a review!! Vashma ke style me bole toh oye hoye hoye hoye....
😆 😆 😆
Don't mind but lately I have seen people criticising for the sake of it, but hype their favs just like that.
As you said, everything can't be covered in a movie, but still the fact they executed so much and made it real deserves an applause!
True! In fact, I wanted to mention this yesterday only. Went to Ghum forum & a thread drew my attention as they said medical science ki dhajia udha di. Now I agree if you show a Management book in a medical professor's rack that would be glaringly obvious.
But why did they show Microbiology & Pathology book as they are taught in 2nd year & Sai in in 1st, I was like - WTH man! Itna detailing bhi possible nahi hain. And for the record, you often need to search for more books simply for a para or a particular disease's pathophysiology. To itna lease to banta hain. Par nahi.....
Here the review was a critic review & sometimes I really wonder what do they expect! Matlab, inhe technicality ki itni padi rehti hain ki original film kaisa hain, kabhi kabhi wohi samajh nahi ata.
Gosh!!! Exactly!!!😡Like ye toh hadd hai, and as shows you need to give some creative liberty at the end of the day. Like in general too..
This is like, jabardasti kuch issue nikalo. Ofc, you do, kaafi references karne padte hai
It's so good to see such real bonds, where it's tender and yet arguments. Otherwise I never have got the theory of b/w like if parents have arguments, they're portrayed to be extreme and worst, like what even?! Plus kids and parents both will have arguments, however great a bond is, cos when there are two people, a discussion or an argument is natural! In fact that's the beauty.
Exactly! TBH, the climax scene where the daughter breaks everything & throws the food away it was downright Badtammezi & she deserved multiple tight slaps. It was after that incident when Sudip asked her to take her time and decide. But later when her mother comes and hugs her, it just broke my heart.
And frankly there have been superficial solution or OTT situation like a mother who told her daughter that she won't allow her to share the same room with her BF as they were respectable people, that same mother revealing later that she knew Cheeni was pregnant came as really shocking.
Again the mother showing the pervert boss his place was total filmy.
But then again why focus on the bad when there's plenty of good things?
Exactly!!! Like, ultimately it's a movie and will have pros and cons, so it totally is fine and enjoy the good things, unless it's not something totally horrible or contrasting the plot.
In the promotion, they kept saying we have a traditional idea about how mothers should be selfless & that should be changed, I thought they were referring to Mishti. But turned out it was Cheeni because she thought she was selfish and unfit to become a mother when her friend pacified her saying even mother are humans, you don't have to be Mother Teresa to prove yourself as a good mother.
WOW, such a real and normal reference. All go through it first time, and all are nervous, no one is perfect. Warna Rabia toh was making as if Alia is the first mother, or should be the best and is so flawless, I mean come on!!
And the blooper I said, Mishti telling Cheeni that she knew she was pregnant, somewhere along the line it made sense. Because Mishti's father who looked so amazing on surface and a proper gentleman, he made her life hell. That man was responsible for her venting her anger on Cheeni too and it scarred their relation. So it was on Cheeni to decide first. Even if Sudip was the father, she had to make up her mind whether she would want to prioritize her career or was totally sure because ultimately a mother's role is extremely important.
Okay, can get it!! Definitely!!
If we look at it from Sudip's POV, it might look cruel but ultimately it's true. Until Cheeni herself was sure what would the child's future look like? A loving father but resentful mother would be as bad as Cheeni's own life was.
So these scenes, these dialogues take the cake.
Exactly!!!Well done!! It's complicated, but they showed it well, and layers and reflection instead of b/w.
Special mention to a FB scene. 😛 Sudip was an orphan but before his parents' death, he grew up in an amazing loving family. So it was raining & he told Cheeni that whenever it rained, his mother would take his father to roof and they would get drenched together. So Cheeni was sad that her family was dysfunctional and Sudip tried to compensate for it saying when two people are in love they can make anything filmy and tried the twirl move. Unlike other movies where heroines make the perfect twirl here Cheeni actually faltered and her arms got a little bit tangled & Sudip was like - are you hurt?
It instantly reminded me of you. 😛
Wow, such a beautiful scene, memories and definitely!! People make a moment special, unlike the whole setup. The last moment, so real in both of them. Wow, glad it did remind you about me, thanks for the ref.
On acting, I can understand. Some people take time to improve in certain scenes and experienced actors always shine!
Agreed. I do think she has a lot of potential because even in KD, she was amazing in her emotional scenes. In fact, here she looked a bit OTT in some scenes. But mastering the outburst scenes are also important and let's hope she'll improve with time. 👍🏼
Exactly!!! Some people learn slow, and some do it fast. So it's fine.
