I read one post here mentioning about Swamy backing Sudhir Gupta. And now this statement,he previously also tweeted about CBI should file 302 in this case. We also know that he had earlier helped him during the Pushkar controversy times. I am really confused now, its like contradictory or am I misunderstanding something 😕
My moto don't trust anyone blindly. But don't mistrust anyone blindly either. I know people do have some valid reasons not to trust him. I actually haven't followed him for years. So other people prob do have a better idea. BUT I have also seen people give rather petty reasons for not trusting him. For example, Payal Rohatgi claims he invited me to meet him offered me free legal help, but forgot to follow up. He is a busy politician and can not remember everything. It was a favor that he never had to offer you in the first place. Sometimes people overpromise more than what is practical with perfectly good intentions. It is later they learn it is not possible.
When a co-worker made a personal dispute public. My supervisor promised me a public apology. Later he learned that it is against HR rules and can not be done. But obviously he promised because he cared and was genuinely pissed about what happened to me. I am saying as a politician even if you try to do the right you will have opposition by people who like the status quo because they benefit from it.
Then there are those who just disagree with him politically. I don't think the farmers bill was the right thing because I have never seen free market economics works in America. All these free market trade deals like NAFTA, KAFTA, PTRWC basically shipped all the factory jobs out. As someone who knows farmers in Punjab are already committing suicide I am genuinely worried too. But that does not mean he cannot be right in ANY other situation.
Like I said keep you eye on him and point out suspicious behavior if you see it. BUT there is no reason to blindly mistrust yet either. He did go through the trouble of getting the ED and CBI investigation off the ground. We do owe him some credit for getting us wherever we are right now.
