I am very pissed with this whole deal of "drugs are everywhere, and its foud everywhere and its cool, normal etc etc.
Those who say it, will they buy it and give it to their family if it's so normal and cool.
Also with the SSR case, I guess the focus is on drugs now, but the moment, AIIMS or CBI comes out with a report or press conference, or anything information The focus will be right back on the SSR case.
I definitely don't agree with certain people in the bollywood forum who are bashing "warriors" day and night while defending bollywood's dirt. They have their panties in a twist because their "favorites" are making it to headlines over their drug use but love to act like they're above it all. I just don't share their perspective and don't relate to their thought process at all.
Having said that, I think there's a difference between acknowledging the widespread presence of drugs and opioid epidemic in bollywood despite it being illegal and actually encouraging it. I'm not scandalized by the fact that bollywood celebrities do weed, cocaine, hash, etc. It was like an open secret and I'm pretty sure even the press that is sensationalizing it everyday knew about it but they were conveniently looking the other way the whole time.
Sushant's death brought the drug issue back to focus, and should be rightfully condemned but I don't like the way it's being done at his behest. I simply don't care that bollywood is drowned in drugs cuz it has nothing to do with SSR and think it's throwing his case off track and secondly, it looks more like a cover-up till people's spirits die down.
It makes me wonder if they'll ever talk about those nasty blinds and Rhea's association with Mahesh Bhatt at all? What bothers me the most is that this "drug bust" which was an open secret anyway is being used as the main focus and obscuring every other important aspect surrounding his death such as the nasty blind items. THAT needs further investigation but probably will be overlooked cuz people are running around mad over drugs.
