Avanti...nice hostel story and about your maruvarthai song memories...I never left home for studies...we have good universities in Montreal so there was no need to leave home...so don't know how it feels to stay away from home for a very long time...Mostly I eat home cooked food...only when I go out that I eat at restaurants...I do complain sometimes about food ...very rare after I started cooking...as anyone who cooks know how much of love and effort you put to do it and if someone says it doesn't taste good it could be very upsetting... also I don't like to waste food (anyone who is capable of eating food 3 times a day is a privilege in my opinion)...I do eat almost everything my mom cooks...not very picky about that..and I eat mostly veg.

Regarding food and kids...I do see it with the children of my cousins...I feel many times this generation kids don't understand the value of a meal.
