Yes my children are back from trip which was not fruitful. They went for some important work, hope next time will be successful.

Praying for Branka's mother's speedy recovery and may her PC to get repaired soon. I guess Branka might not be able to take out time to repair it. It is really very tough to manage home and attend our dear person who is not well. Also praying for Branka to come out of the tough time alongwith her mother and Jelena.

Very happy to know that Avi and family are getting accustomed into the new place😊

Good morning!

The otherwise normal morning comes with a grim reminder of the death anniversary of our dearest Seetha, our friend, our soul mate, our soul sister! Do not understand the ways of the universe and do not know where she is now, either reborn according to Hindu mythology or a kind presence in the firmament enjoying heaven and bliss, but I know we miss her presence every other day and especially today😭. We are as heart broken today as we were when she suddenly passed away. A poem by Joyce Grenfell echoes what she must be telling us:

If I should go before the rest of you

Break not a flower nor inscribe a stone

Nor when I’m gone speak in a Sunday voice

But be the usual selves that I have known

Weep if you must

Parting is Hell

But life goes on

So sing as well.

You were a beautiful soul who spread so much happiness to your family and friends, if I have to list your qualities, my ink would dry but the list would not end. Miss you dearly, dear friend🤗, your compassion, your wisdom, your friendship!

Such a trail of beautiful memories you have left for us but wish it was not memories we were talking about but you and our daily conversations!

Few things in life have such a huge impact on heart and mind, that depth and pain which stirs us at that moment and its effect will last long, sometimes it will be there till our end! In life, the precious friendships and those special friends adduce a void that spreads its wings for long! When a dear friend departed without saying a word, how can I describe that pain, only we know that!

There are a few Angels whom we called them as our friends, those people who have walked on this earth over the past hundreds and thousands of years to enlighten our thoughts and perceptions regarding human relationships. Seetha was one such Angel who was there when I needed a friend who could say, 'I am here for you, to take care of you, to guide you and to bring you back from the pit of a neverending dark tunnel!' How can I forget her contribution to infuse new life into my lungs when I lost interest in a breath at one stage.

Sweet is the memory of that distant friend, who was very nearer to my heart! Like the mellow rays of the departing sun, it falls tenderly, yet sadly, on the heart and to date I never recovered from her sad demise. Today I just want to say --

It's okay to miss you, it's okay to cry. Seetha my dear friend... Just know I'll never forget you.

Sometimes I sit and wonder, if you are standing by my side, giving me the courage to carry on with pride.

I'll hold onto our memories ,until this life is done, In my heart is where I'll store them, where I can be with you to share my smiles, to gift my tears. Thankful to you Seetha for gifting me this Rainbow thread and all these wonderful friends who have taken your place to console, to encourage, to share and care of me and each other just like you, exactly just like you! Dear friends, Leavesandwaves was not coming to IF for a few months, so this year, we are missing her words here on this special day.

Why BV cvs are systematically butchering the family lives of the good characters ??

How far is it convincingly correct to project even the well understanding ..forward-- thinking, cultured and well mannered Vivek,[ many of us may not like this character ...but it is irrelevant here !] to suspect his wife and create a story well enough to stretch for few more weeks? He is a lawyer by profession .. right? Can't he be able to realize the bad intentions of his brother? Another example of a clouded intelligence? You too Brutus ???

And BTW ...what point they want to prove here...or rather what sort of a message they are going to give to the hapless ---or to the adamant viewers who are unable to quit to watch this serial ??

So we have to prepare a tear-jerking story of Sanchi !!!! But here an inquisitive question ...if there is a court case ...who is going to argue for Sanchi and Shekhars ??????---

Sometimes she used to express her opinions in a straight forward way like this--

She is famous for that ...always invite trouble and impose it on other characters ...now she may have to come back to KB and Anandi will be busy again to solve this problem ...and no Bhaili and no social work for her for the time being !!!

There is no human being on earth, who is capable of giving trouble to her, except herself with her stupidity! ----

They firmly believe that only negative tracks will garner them high TRPs and for that, they are making all these unconvincing tracks! I pray ...just once ...if they try to show the tranquil love life of JaGan and AnSh...without any negativity how nice it will be ??!!

Of course ...even if they show the love life of Sanchi ...it will bring a negative impact on everything !!!

Her statement here surprised me---

People of England...their way of thinking; attitude towards life... society..circumstances...its' entirely different.Here we r a little bit illiterates...a l... bit deprived of everything...that's why... no need to prepare us for any action or reaction...good or bad.

I agree it was scary to some but women getting gang raped , tied to trees and burnt , hit , stripped on roads etc happens in rurall India on a large scale . So those watching this serial there won't be that surprized or shocked and i feel BV is sending out a message that an abused woman can get a life too , these difficulties will be there but all is not lost yet , still stand up and fight . Yes. Only for sensationalism...for that, they contradict their own moral messages.

Are we adamant to accept that--- all these characters are fictional?! OR are we too sentimental to disown them ,detach them from our lives?! MAYBE BOTH ASPECTS ARE CORRECT!!! Knowingly or unknowingly we have intertwined our lives with this BV to some extent...and UNABLE to accept that every character has its' own identity...SOME SPECIAL ATTRIBUTES ---SOME SPECIAL TRAITS TO THEM, -- this is an excellent work of a team mainly by excellent actors and the writers.

I am feeling nostalgic these days remembering good old times when I used to watch every AnSh scene over and over again, till they were deeply engraved in my memories.

AnSn is no more, but memories remain...hence: remembering: Pratyusha, awesome &
only Anandi Shivraj Shekhar, who with her superb acting created magical chemistry between AnSh, that is no more. Without her, Shiv is completely lost and gone.

All that remains are memories

Of the way, they were...of the way they were... And they were simply...unforgettable

Really she is the queen of expressions! We lost a Gem...an Amulet...a Talisman. With her exit, BV lost everything and the viewers lost interest in this serial. I feel we are the biggest losers. She was never bogged by the expectations of her character and instead proud to be associated with a social message .. social cause.! She expressed it in one of her interviews. Her presence influenced other actors' acting abilities and ...in total a great performance by all. Now including the writer lost interest... confused about the storyline. The result we are all watching!!!!!!!

Completely agree with you, sestro slatka, I stopped to watch that show 5 months ago, after it lost all its senses and magic. I do not read even WU any more, completely uninteresting story.

Sad about it, because once I loved it so much.

Memories of what we used to have are still fresh, but as one smart lady said in another thread (let me quote Gina here):

It is not possible: to change the cunning nature of Sanchi!

It is not possible: to convince Sumitra and Ira to realize the real nature of their children!

It's not possible: to Ganga to conceal her affection and gratitude towards Jagdish!

It is not possible: to Jagdish to be docile for long... to be controlled by anybody on earth...

It's not possible: to Anandi and Shiv ...being really sensitive ..and intelligent -- to ignore the truth forever!

It's not possible: to Dadisa to be a silent spectator ...for long!!!

Seetha--- Men Are Accidental and Women are Elemental!

[This is one of her good analysis on Anandi's character, whom she used to love most at that time.]

Men are accidental and women are elemental.Mainly Bv is the story of ANANDI AND JAGDISH. Anandi is depicted as an ideal type.---an ideal bahu and an ideal partner. Her roots go deep. She is superior to any other character... compassionate --- viewing the problem from other's point of view...tenderhearted...sympathetic towards others feelings...huge love towards humanity[some may object for this attribute.]YES!! She is elemental---forgiving others misdeeds just like EARTH[kshamaya dharitri]bubbly... chirpy full of life ...spreading happiness ...just like AIR-----here and there everywhere...in her village- in her house---she convinced others to change their attitude[when ever it is necessary] ----she tried her best to improve the lives of the villagers ...and of course the lives of her own family members time and again...she worked as an undercurrent to make things move fast towards women empowerment. YES "at times she questioned the age-old traditions...which are deterrent to the improvement of the society...fought with the mighty tyrants to protect the downtrodden women and children and financially weaker sections. Anandi is the embodiment of all the elements---embodiment of a standard. Compassion and consciousness in the final degree are one and the same.--- YES! Men are pioneering ... creative but forceful and physically powerful[This point is debatable] I freely admit that my experience is limited...I could be right or wrong. Basically men are a little bit possessive [the main reason behind wars and personal attacks!!!] a little bit selfish ... they know how to share but they are a little bit averse to care. Jagiya is a pampered kid-- then spoiled brat -- arrogant male with high self-esteem...but emotionally dependent...egocentric but with clouded intelligence. He emotionally attached to Anandi..at all stages in all circumstances. Anandi is his weakness as well as his great strength too. That is the paradox in their relationship.

There are so many'' IFS AND BUTS'' in this Anandi-- Jaggiya story. Had Anandi not sent J to Mumbai, there would not have been any separation between the two. They would have lived happily ever after... but it was not to be. If J's relation with G were accepted by his family and if they were allowed to live with them... then that would have been curtains for Anandi in haveli...she would have gone back to her parents' house to pursue her studies in order to march forward in her life. Then the story would have taken a different course.. Only because of some twists in the story...J&A were separated physically but attached mentally-- DEPENDED ON EACH OTHER EMOTIONALLY.!!! She saved him - he saved her - later he crushed her dreams-she went into seclusion-he wanted her back - she wanted to move forward- Who is responsible for this hiatus? Anandi's LOVE and TRUST were insulted by J. She engaged herself in the upliftment of the villagers...in that process met Shiv -a big turn in her life. IF everything goes well in people's lives, there will be no story to be told. DEVDAS and PARU though separated were mentally attached to each other. After the marriage of Paru if they never met again there wouldn't have been any further story. I think it is a unique relationship between them. BUT now the BV story lost its charm because of so many reasons which people have been expressing time and again. We were too much attached to this BV till Feb end...!! But now we have so many doubts---so much confusion --frustration...we are unable to connect with the characters any more. but are watching the serial just to see what they are going to do further to Anandi's character.
