I cannot get over how they have someone like Maduri standing in the sidelines while a non dancer is allowed to take the center stage...Is it because they didn't dare to invite the inevitable comparisons that would've been brought about? After seeing this, I have very little hope for Sonakshi's character as well...:(

If I ignore all that, song is good and so the visuals- though it completely lacks the soul... The only good things about this though are Madhuri and Varun... Madhuri is so mesmerizing that I kept searching for the glimpses of her... Eventhough they carefully managed to not let Alia be with Madhuri for most of the song, just those few glimpses of them both together are enough to understand why they completely sidelined Madhuri...

^^ Alia seems to be REALLY close to Kjo. Imagine a dance number where you have Madhuri as a supporting character while Alia takes cetre stage and does all the dancing. Kjo's love for Alia is sometimes unimaginable.
Coming to the song, already knew from faltu ka twitter hype that it's going to be lackluster. Alia has no grace to perform such a dance number and here apparently Begum is getting impressed with her new student. The background dancers dance better than her.
