Exactly !!! That scene has no effect. I couldnt see the transition in that hug but just a casual platonic one. Barun is not too great with such intimate scene to be honest 😕 He does romance well but getting intimate is not his forte ... also bad writing :/

Colors' Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka to go off- air?

MUMBAI: If rumours had it then Drashti Dhami, Aditi Sharma, Abhinav Shukla and Shakti Arora starrer 'Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka is probably shutting its shop.

According to our reliable sources, the last episode is likely to be shot in November and would be telecasted in December.

The show has always been in the news, be it for right reasons or wrong. The upbeat and unconventional storyline attracted many viewers, but then came a downturn when fans rattled the hornet's nest after makers showed a steamy love scene between Kunal (Shakti Arora ) and Nandini(Drashti Dhami). It was difficult for fans to digest the concept of an extra-marital affair and they demanded that the show should go off- air.

Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, produced by Sphere Origins, revolves around Kunal, Nandini and Mauli. While Kunal and Mauli are married, Nandini's just out of a bad marriage. Both Kunal and Nandini feel drawn to each other. Initially, they try to suppress their attraction but soon give in and move ahead with their extramarital affair.

We tried reaching out to the producers and actors but were unavailable for comments.

For someone who said he wont get intimate on screen, he was ok. However, I agree the scenes lacked chemistry. And yes, probably he does romance better than getting intimate on screen.
The scenes of Kay Kay with Sanaya (Geeta) were better, imo.

Finally, I have no idea how the show got takers. Not that the concept was bad, but yes, it was handled very poorly. The show was definitely meant to handle sensitive subjects well, but it just dint do that.

😊 Hi Ecri, I was busy.

Tahira is right and the half of the comments below each new #metoo news is sickening.

I definitely gonna watch Andhadhun.

I heard they showed it as some divine intervention (signs and all) for EMA.

I didn't watch it but I already know the story from tumblr (Not detailed). The theme didn't surprise me, but I think it will be shock for people who watch less controversial themed movies/shows. Few of his fans were complaining about less screen time. Is it true? Even though direction is praised, over all It's getting mixed response.

No clue. But whatever they showed is blasphemous. Infact, Mira and I were just talking yesterday about how Indian makers cant handle sensitive stuff. Period

Its definitely a mixed bag, Rad.
Tbh, the content and direction was not bad, but the handling of subject and the characters was unjustified and abrupt, especially in the end. Some things didnt make sense, like how did Samar's wife learn about the ONS?
And from Sobti's fan POV, he was definitely a second fiddle to Eisha and Kay kay. Infact, the story makes Eisha and Kay Kay more positive and him more grey, but he was under-utilised by the team.

However, the series is definitely one-time watch. Idk about less controversial audience, but considering its web, the takers must have been there.
