I thought Bepannah became interesting since Rajeev's entry based on other people reviews? No I don't watch it. I watched few episodes in the beginning but constant crying of Zoya and another extreme character of Aditya annoyed me plus it was boring. I started it for Jenny as I loved her as Maya. Me too love Maya so much. My fav female character other than Geet. Both were such unique characters. Makers did destroy her character later on, but in the end I think they kind of made it though and came back with it. But they destroyed Arjun and Saanjh's characters completely esp Arjun's.. But no matter what makers did, only Maya was watchable and she made the show and run the show because other character were so pathetic, crap and just made me hate so much esp Jhanvi, Arjun and Saanjh. Have never hated characters esp Saanjh that much and many felt the same way towards her. I really hate homewreckers, cheaters and child abusers. The makers portrayed them such saint even though all of them were criminals too and worse. And Arjun toh became murderer too in the end, but they kept making Maya the bad one. Well, most like the characters in the show made her the bad ones and themselves as the good ones. Makers did always show Maya's side and would show Her reasons and justify her and some would say they would show her as a victim and others as bad ones. So whatever. But Beyhadh was so confusing and many things weren't even clarified. Plus so many wrongs messages were given and mental illness was portrayed so bad. I hated it, and they even made Child abuser and attempted murderer Ashwin as victim just to put Maya down. The only good thing they did was to make Maya win in the end and bad/unhappy ending for Arjun. Anyway, Maya's character was the best. I wish DD would play such a character.

Me too love Mauli's character. It's so relatable and written very well. Plus the actress playing it is very natural. I feel so bad for her the way she required to do everything and how the makers are trying to justify EMA on a wife just because she works and can't balance everything. I was so angry when that man spoke about his wife doing everything and busy so he has the right to cheat. Like I was already feeling bad for Mauli for being so busy and Kunal not even requiring to help around the house, that they had the guts to even show that Mauli or such women are wrong. Like I really really wanted Mauli to tell that jerk about why when husbands are busy, wives are required to be patient and say nothing? Does that give the wives the right to cheat especially when a husband is very loving like how Mauli is as a wife? Like why the hell are women required to do everything? Doing outside work, home stuffs, children and giving the husband time? But men are just required to do outside job and not have to do anything? See that's why Indian shows annoy me. In US people know already that if both husband and wife work, then both should help around the house unlike Indian shows or such societies. Like I was already feeling bad from beginning episodes itself how Mauli was going through a lot at home to help and do the job that now makers actually think that's not enough?

As for Nandini, I do like her character and I am okay with D taking such character because if she cries and all, it's still a much different character than the the usual female leads characters where the fall in love and taking shit from male leads. Here though Nandini is having abuse, but it's different as it's not the male lead and they are showing domestic abuse rather than romanticizing it. Plus the concept of the show will give a lot of scope for DD to perform various shades and emotions. So I feel it's still different the others and much better as a performance oriented role. Even though I don't relate with a Nandini, but such women do exist. So it's realistic too. All the main 4 characters are very realitistic and relatable to people.

Never mind It's Arjit taneja show i liked the promos so started watching but it went down like other typical Indian shows.

I can relate to nandini's character but crying and domestic abuse scenes are getting repetitive.But yeah I agree nandini's character have maximum chances of growth.But i don't know how they are going to justify EMA by showing mauli so good and relateable.I like friendly bond of nandini and mauli.This is one show beside MB where I m not shipping her jodi with her costar.I want to see nandini's journey from meek to strong and independent woman.Yep this character is totally different from other characters dd have taken but I want to see more shades of nandini's character and this time i will prefer nabdini making sacrifice for mauli and choosing mauli over kunal as mauli will be going out of her way to help her out of living hell with Rajbeer.

Infact DD herself said in interview she wants to play charcter like Maya. I want DD to potray modern woman and character that has some grey shades .

Hey Pree, how do you like Silsila so far? I really like it so far even though I thought I would hate it because it's based on EMA and just tried to watch for DD. But so far nothing is that has happened and I am just enjoying right now mainly because the makers haven't made the show in a way to make you feel depressed. So I can watch it plus all the main 4 actors are really doing a great job. Their performances are superb esp DD, Aditi and Abhinav's and Shakti is doing justice too to whatever he's given so far. I am disappointed with 1 tro though because it's such a good show much better than Bhagyas. I can never get how those Bhagya get so much trps when it's the same story all the time and so boring too.


Bepannah is down too. Sad to see such shows getting less trps. I am glad ISA getting good trps. At least one good show in top 10 and Naagin toh is always entertaining so make sense to be high. I just don't get how bhagyas, yeh rishta such boring and same shows get trps :/ I hope Silsila's trps increase and Bepannah too even though I don't watch it, but the actors are great there and deserve it and it's much better show than the crap we see.

I did enjoy Eid. Much needed break and got to see most relatives. I am just so glad Ramadan passed. Was so tried and hadn't had any full sleep throughout the month. I didn't have time for anything,and it just got so overwhelming during Ramadan. Finally I can have more time and more normal hours of sleep.

Yep I m liking Silsila so far .All actors are performing the best.Yep trps are low and I think reason is being show is given less promotion even promo was released 9 days before the show and whatever promos they gave was on EMA hence trps are low.
