anyone here watch HS? I skimmed it and tbh i didn't like it much. Maybe expectations were too high, maybe it really wasn't that good only. But the love triangle between the other three sisters and the two guys were all over the place. Naushad and Meher i genuinely liked however, and they didn't get as much screen time as i would've liked them to have. there were farrr too many stories running parallel to the point of confusion and the unsettling atmosphere of Kashmir which i thought was the base of the story, was a small part of the show which mostly focused on the love triangles and love lives of the sisters. it gave such KTH vibes tbh.

Ishqbaaaz has been the flag bearer of Star
Plus' tagline Nayi Soch and Anika (Surbhi
Chandna) has successfully put up an act on
the same by not just taking the
responsibility of her character but also
doing utmost justice to it.
We quizzed Surbhi about the same, to which
she said, "I feel Anika is the biggest
example of Nayi Soch because I don't see a
character like Anika on Indian Television;
someone who stands up for herself and
who is as blunt as her. When a girl can
actually fight with someone as novel and
as grand as Shivaay Singh Oberoi, and can
fight for her brother or her family, or
anybody for that matter."
"I don't think people can gather that kind
of courage but they should take inspiration
from Anika. She does not wear clothes like
a typical bahu, until and unless it is a
requirement for the show," she added.

Ishqbaaaz on Star Plus has been one of the
most loved shows ever since its inception
and has in fact witnessed a roller coaster
ride; be it Nehalaxmi Iyer quitting the show
or the rumours of the show going off-air.
We quizzed Nakuul about all the rumours of
the show going off-air, to which he said,
"My job is to act and that is what I do. I
come to the sets, read my screenplay and I
act. And of course, a lot of things are
spoken about, and if I pay heed to those
things then I won't enjoy my work. When
you tell me I also take it with a pinch of salt,
I feel we are doing well, and what is stored
ahead is very interesting. I think people
are going to love it, and there is no reason
why you will not watch more of us."
The duo of Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi
Chandna has also shot for a major plot
twisting promo, which is based on the lines
of Indian epics- Ramayan and Mahabharat.
Talking about an interesting twist ahead, he
said "The show has gone through a
plethora of phases and we have been on-
air for about almost 2 years now, we have
nearly done 500 plus episodes, and a lot of
things, but I think what we are doing now
is personally the most exciting. I think the
greatest epics told are Ramayana and
Mahabharata, and the conflicts and
structures that have been there is what is
going to be incorporated in the show
ahead now, and it has got a twist to that. I
have noticed that every time people on the
sets are excited about what they are
doing, it translates well and people enjoy
watching that. I am hoping that happens
this time around well."
Well, we are sure that everything will
transform into something epic, and there's
no way that the viewers are willing to let go
