he Rajshris too have succumbed to the lure of the leap. Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki on Sahara One, that traces the life of Rani who marries into a poor family, will take a 20 year leap shortly. The main casualities will be the leads Arjun Punjj and Reena Kapoor. However, both are being affected in different ways by the changing track.

Woh Rehne Wali... completed 200 episodes recently, and Arjun had made a comeback to the show after being replaced by Kashif for a period, just a few months ago. Both the production house and the channel continue to remain tight lipped about the proposed leap, but Sahara One COO Purnendu Bose admits that a leap is indeed in the offing.

The serial's director Kaushik Ghatak admits, "Any serial is bound to take a leap sometime or the other," hestitant to elaborate further.

We have it on authority, however, that learn that Rani, played by Reena Kapoor will die on the show. She will however continue to be connected to it as the daughter of Prince and Rani. " Yes, I will be dying on the show, and will be born as the daughter," says Reena. She adds, " The show will have a very young and fresh look as I will be a grown up college girl!," sounding excited about the change.

But Arjun Punjj, twice born in the serial, doesn't seem to be too happy with this decision. The actor who had quit the show and was called back allegedly as the TRPs slumped following his exit, will again be head towards the exit door! On being asked about his second exit from the show, he sighs, " I feel stupid! I don't understand this, when the show is doing well, what's the point of taking a leap?"

So did he discuss the issue with the production house? " No, and why should I? If they don't need me, nor do I need them! I am okay with their decision." Arjun will be killed on the show, as they don't have another option! The actor has decided now to look out for movie offers.

The show's leap is slated after a month,and will rope in new characters,donning a fresh look!
