Usually there cliche books suck big time but I just read a book on a totally 'new' idea.

It is based in the Victorian England.. before women got right to vote. There is this girl who is a strong feminist and wishes to destroy the whole chauvinism system in society and politics and she dressed up like a man to vote at the polling station. (based on a real news report like that)

She met a famous industrialist Mr. Ambrose and this is their love story with a strong backdrop of social struggles, mostly for women and poor people in that era with a lot of mind-blowing facts about that time.

And this is the first book of this kind that i have read and It Is written by a GUY. (Plus he looks so cute in his dp with his dog licking his face and has on point humour without overdoing it or making it vulgar)

I am just speechless right now..

And I don't even hate cliche.. I just hate the uber annoying fangirl comments on them. And I do get tired of reading the same thing again and again.

It's Storm and Silence. I thought this book was boring but I like it. Even though there are like 4 sequels and 100 chapters in the first book. Lol.
