Thanks Shwetha 😃

About HD posts, it would have been more fun if people had not been such twisted bhakts! Yet, I am glad for it because I found friends 😃

Heema, any idea where the 'Di' brigade is? Heard from any of them? I remember that this CC used to be stalked by them too as soon as they discovered that the four of us used to huddle in here and talk 😆 Then there were some PMs and some accusations and so on and other nonsense. Fun times! 😆

Shwetha, is malgova available in Bangalore? Last year, I was in Chennai during the mango season. Malgova was frighteningly expensive! Apparently they had not had a good crop, so a single fruit costed something like 200 bucks! 😲

Di, I havent tasted mango only this time... Rain isnt there na.. so my mom says not to eat as they forcefully make the fruit ripe through inserting chemicals...

Yup, here too its too costly...Yup, malgoba is my fav too... Hearing malgoba, rasouri and badami, mouth starts watering 😛

Listening to HR word, I should tell you this. I went to one interview in One japanese Company yesteday. That CEO was our client, so from them, I got that interview. That company follows japanese culture there and they took interview of approx 2 hours plus ... which was full of technical questions. It looked like they are hiring for their CEO and all detailed thing they asked. Some how i managed to answer and those which I dont know, I honestly accepted. I felt its too much and no one knows everything.

There are a chances of selection. But thing which they scared me is work timings. The company is located in electronic city, which is 30 kms away from my home and takes 2 hours plus to travel. They start in early morning 8, which i need to leave home around 6.15. I should also get up by 5. They say most of the days, they gonna stretch timings to 8.30 due to heavy work. and atleast two saturdays in a month, we should work. If I leave at 8.30, I reach home by 10. Work life balance is an big issue.

When they asked as to if you have any questions, I asked them like... "You are such a big company and have world wide branches and why only very few people are hired for finance."
They said some thing, which Iam not convinced.

American companies are actually good to work as they maintain work life balance. These japanese companies are like hectic work and only work.😕

What you guys say di ? Is that ideal to go ahead with that company or not ?

See what ten dollars and a crate of tomatoes can do!

Exactly... There is one client with us.. . He is a paper seller.. He got scrutiny notice from tax department for depositing 50 lakhs in cash... He came to us with notice and I was surprised as to how he earned that money just by keeping a small paper shop. He used to do commission business in between and was selling old magazines at half rate ... He was very good at marketing .. though he has not done any MBA nor any degree... and in just one year... he earned 50 lakhs plus money... he knew that he will get the notice sure in future and he has kept documents pakka with him to substantiate that it is his hard earned income.

If I were you, I would run far, far away from such a company and never turn to look back!

Why do you want to change your current job? Is it for salary or don't you have a good boss? Or is it for more exposure?

Point is, you must have a solid reason to take up so much pain. Only if your current job is giving you more pain should you consider this company.

My opinion, strictly.

Speaking of the Japanese, there was one company we were working with. One of the employees was online with us at the time that the tsunami struck. We panicked and asked him if he would like to go to safety. So he says, "No...the tsunami is happening on the ground. I am on the 21st floor. It is okay. Let's continue."

They are WEIRD!!
