Ok I watched Dhoni at the local theatre.. stall, upper stall and balcony. yaha the stall and upper stall crowd is total rowdy.. 😆 which added to the cricket atmosphere in the movie..Chillam chilli and whistling. Sushant Singh tried his best to play Dhoni. He succeeds to an extent only. I kept searching for Dhoni in his mannerisms but was disappointed. He did get his walk right during the World Cup shot and couple of his cricketing shots that's it. The movie was more focused on Dhoni as a batsman. He is an amazing wicket keeper but the makers forgot it soon after the movie started.. there is hardly any focus on Dhoni as a wicket keeper in the movie. No interaction is shown between Dhoni and his international cricket teammates. Say a dressing room scene with the team etc would have made sense. No focus on the point in his life when he became captain. The entire first half goes in showing his struggle. By the time it's interval you realise there are two relationship stories, his ascend, T20 win and the World Cup win still pending. Much of the second half goes in showing his relationship with Priyanka and then Sakshi. Beech beech mein between cute moments and songs, we are shown glimpses of cricket matches. Aise karte karte at last we win the World Cup. Movie time: 3 hours and 10 mins... too long!

haa Nas..the rituals are different.. in my family,we mostly do paath and meditation.. no fasts.. but no nonveg for sure..
