the moustache makes him look comical😆 in any case, m no fan of that show, plus its based on a not so great dhadkan..so IDK I just watch the previews at times because ishqbaaz ends before it..😛

I actually do know about how the locals are suffering, but dont have any option, and the reason why Imran Khan at one point last year, got close to toppling the current head of the state..but its all military who takes calls there..there is no chance for a sensible politician to rule over their State..the end result of what remains of that country will get decided soon from the looks of it..

I am not sure if I agree with the ban either, but at this point, I just dont want to watch anything from their country, that I love some of their actors/ actresses regardless..just that I dont feel like it, considering the mood around

That said, my true problem here is with China, who thinks of us as a major competition and is funding all the ******** they hate us, more so, since BJP came into power..everyday their media writes articles against us, its like a true blue cold war..with them and real mindgames being played

people are not realising that a war is not answer to the solutions, the neighbouring country who is just a bewakoof pawn, is not worth it at all..to go into all that trouble.. not to mention, it is our economy which will suffer loses the minute war is declared and India cannot afford to lose its shining mane and suffer stock market losses because of all of this..I read an interesting article about how India is BMW and neighbouring country is a random truck and we cant afford to put a dent in BMW by attacking the truck, because it costs more to repair a BMW🤓

yes what happened with our soldiers was terrible and we are all angry and to answer that, the army has been given free hand to take action when and where they want to, but here it is China who is using its clout and that is why India cannot attack directly, on the contrary we can play the economical game here..downgrade MFN status, no more cricket matches et al, their shows are already banned (to be fair all the good pak dramas had already aired anyway😆), no revenue to them from us..

Banning the artistes or forcing Indian film makers to drop Pakistani actors is not the answer.

Why is the military all powerful in Pakistan and why despite equally if not being better equipped than Pakistani army why there is no threat of Indian Army taking over or overriding the democratically elected government? That question needs to be answered.
What makes their democratically elected Govt so fragile as opposed to ours?
Our politicians are by no means angels 😛 😆 but still they are the ones who make decisions and army takes orders from elected representatives.

Why is it despite poverty illiteracy and host of other problems no foreign player could use our soil? Why did we remain a nation with so much freedom despite poverty? Why did we not become a communist state despite being close friends with the erstwhile USSR?

War is not an answer but talking peace is also not an option.

What do we get for giving Pakistanis an opportunity to showcase their talents and allow them to make money on our soil? We get terrorists trained on Pakistani soil and coming and killing our people.
It's high time Pakistanis realised that peace with India is in their interest too.

Colors all geared up for the festive season

The upcoming launches include Bigg Boss 10, Shani, Nagin 2 and Dil Se... Dil Tak
BestMediaInfo Bureau | Mumbai | September 30, 2016

Colors, the Hindi GEC from Viacom 18, is beefing up its content line-up to be festive season-ready. Having announced Devanshi, a fiction property to be launched on October 3, the channel is gearing up for some big ticket programmes such as Bigg Boss season 10 and Nagin season 2, along with other shows like Shani and Dil Se... Dil Tak that will come later this month.

Commenting on the new line-up, Raj Nayak, CEO, Colors, said, "Each of these concepts has been handpicked by our creative teams keeping in mind newness, intrigue and variety. Be it a show that dismisses blind faith like Devanshi, the second edition of our super-hit mystical thriller Nagin, an entertainment show on human behaviour like Bigg Boss, a love story with a unique twist like Dil Se...Dil Tak or a historical-mytho series like Shani, it's all happening on Colors. We have associated with the choicest storytellers and production teams to curate compelling shows in keeping with the channel's core DNA while catering to every member of a family."
Devanshi, a story of a seven-year-old girl, a show that fights with superstition, will air every Monday to Friday at 7 pm. Coming up next will be the second edition of television's most-loved and well-received show - Nagin season 2. Picking up 24 years after the first season's end, the sequel will delve into love, protection of a legacy and revenge thereon, with a nagmani at its helm. The journey into the world of the unknown will commence from October 8, every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm.
Undoubtedly the biggest launch of the season will be Colors' marquee property, Bigg Boss 10, which will kick-off on October 16, every Monday to Friday at 10.30 pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 9 pm. Creating history, this season the focus shifts to the common man, who will become contestants on the show and live under 247 camera scrutiny. Selected after a rigorous audition process, the common man contestants will lead an isolated life, their only contact with the outside world being the show's superstar host, Salman Khan.
Dil Se...Dil Tak is a heartfelt love story of a married couple " Parth Bhanushali (Sidharth Shukla) and Sharvari (Rashami Desai) " whose dreams of parenthood will be contingent on Teni (Jasmine Bhasin). The show will trace their love, and trials and tribulations as they strive to reunite with the orthodox Bhanushali family. Further, the channel will be launching Indian television's biggest and most technically sound historical mytho drama, Shani. Delving into the life of Hinduism's most ruthless God, Shani will reveal the truths behind myths and dismiss the beliefs that have been passed along over generations.
Throughout the festive season and onwards, the channel will sport a robust line-up of shows, including existing and the new launches through programmes like Thapki...Pyaar Ki, Devanshi, Sasural Simar Ka, Shakti...Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii, Udann, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Swaragini, Kasam...Tere Pyaar Ki, Krishndasi, Kawach...Kaali Shaktiyon Se, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza, Nagin 2, Bigg Boss, 24, Shani and Dil Se...Dil Tak among others.

I am mighty impressed with surgical strikes. Don't know how the retaliation will be if there is going to be one.
Sail through to second term or not probably be dependent on how he minimises collateral damage

------------
Me grew up in cold war times 😆
Ken Follet described in his last of Centuries series how Berlin wall came down. We all remember reading all this newspapers and a few visuals in the few news channels that were present at that time.
The way East Germans broke the wall must have been a spectacular sight.
It's almost like a catharsis. All their frustrations and anti establishment sentiments fuelling that incident.
All the western world were dancing with proclaims of putting an end to communism when in fact it was the people of those communist states put an end to communism.
All that western powers did in their desire to curtail the influence of USSR gave rise only to the next big monster *terrorism*.
The point I am trying to make is only if and when the man/woman on street decides enough is enough change will happen.
The so called powerful nations cannot do anything other than creating one monster to kill another monster 🤢
---------------

Waiting to see how this surrogacy issue will be dealt apart from wanting to see how Sid and RD look together

Happy and a blessed Durga Festival Sush 😊
Am into flipping channels more than watching now a days 😆

They are telecasting America's Got Talent on weekdays on Zee Cafe. They have only one host an attractive male who remains mostly in the background and makes small conversations with the participants and judges once in a while and also makes a few comments facing the camera .A pleasant mannered host not grabbing attention who is exact opposite of Bharti of IGT 😛😆

They could have followed the same format because it was just as entertaining as AGT.After all people watch the show for the talent displayed by the common men /women girls /boys and not for the gags conjured up by random stand up comedian.

Other than that am watching masterchef on Sitara.

JNDSD appears to have similarities with Maniratnam film Agninakshtram which is about two brothers. Only thing is that there is no triangle in that film. But alas the CVs of the show are no Maniratnams.
This is a Hindi daily soap and not some classy film that touches the heart.

Strange thing is that this show caught my attention because it is supposed to be a comebackfor certain someone from my all time favourite show but now I find other things about the show more interesting than his character. But don't think this show can keep me hooked.

Colors channel 🤢 Feel like saying goodbye to the channel looking at the state of their weekend programming and the so called shows with socially relevant content. But the only reason I can't bring myself to hate the channel is Balika Vadhu, Anandi and Shiv along with Dsa PS GK SSG and PY.

I am still into Ken Follett's works in a big way.
His stories are simple good vs evil and characters are just good and bad but his background research is excellent and he transports the reader into the world of his story because of the realstic depiction of the society and the eras his characters are set in.

Wish we had writers like him in India.

May be Indian TV show producers should look at adapting his stories for Indian Television.

Congratulations on the new CC 😊..
Well, must confess - watched a couple of shows .. nothing is appealing characters become creepy/ unbearable / or the story/tracks fail miserably

have been reading fiction! and watching reruns of select epis of CS on Voot 😊

24 Season 2 - found it disappointing except for Harsh Chaya and Sakshi 👏⭐️ - I could not digest the fact that a country's anti terrorism unit and its head (may be this fiction) could make blunders after blunders and not take into account the collateral damage their messed up plan could create...

Ashoka - do not want to say anything about it - the PH must be banned from making any historicals in future 😡😡

I am trying to make the best out of this so non appealing fiction scenario on Indian Television😆
Am reading a lot these days when I am not playing one of my computer games I am addicted to😡.I am trying hard to get de-addicted to these games and it is not working😡

I started reading fiction works from my mother tongue Telugu. Telugu literature is in a sad state now.
There are so few writers in Telugu now .I got introduced to Telugu fiction by mother. Now most of the writers whose works I grew up reading have either stopped writing or a few writers who are digital savvy moved onto online platforms.

I was reading a book by one of the writers from 70s era.She was one of those rare writers who wrote on subjects which are of social relevance.Strangely even now the subjects on which she wrote seem to be relevant.
I read her book based on child marriage.Compared to her novel CS seems like a fairy tale.😛
It's a very hard hitting story about a woman who was married off when she was 12 and widowed at the age of 25 with a 11 year old daughter whom she is forced to marry off to a 20 year old man.

Came across a show on Zindagi channel (I have been making frequent visits to this channel post their decision to drop dramas from across the border😛)It is a comedy show spoofing RS and K maiyya's shows.Apparently it is a show with finite no episodes.

-------------------
After scaning through shows that are on air I became even more fond of Anandi Shiv and their love story.
Never thought that a love story between a Mr and Mrs Goody Two shoes can be so appealing until Shiv Anandi love story came along.

Shiv was the ultimate Mr Goody Twoshoes who was cool funny hot and cute at the same time
Nobody can be as good as or as adorable as Shiv

How are you all?
Things are no happening on TV fiction front for me.

Finding reality shows more intriguing and entertaining these days and not to mention news channels and news makers😆

In some states the state of health of the CM is a secret while in some other state a full fledged family drama going on in a political family😆
Now we know why family dramas are such a big hit in our country apart from the super women leads😆
-------------------

Watching CS on Voot these days.I am watching it like I am reading books these days.
Currently I am watching the very first episodes of BV. Undoubtedly they were the best episodes of the entire 2200+ episodes👏
They were so classy the story was told through such subtle scenes the characters were built up so nicely.
Now looking back I realised that they were telling us what Anandi is going to be like when she grew up through her scenens with her beloved teacherji.

I think it is the viewers who couldn't see what the makers were telling through Anandi's story.
Anandi's only aim in life now I realise is that she wanted to be like her teacherji and nothing more or nothing less and she accomplished that. I guess that's what success is all about for her. How can her life be termed as failure?
Just like her teacherji who did not require money power political power or clout that a power family wields she too did not need all those things to do what she wanted to do in her life and with her life.
Anandi Bhago and teacherji trio was attempted with Anandi N and Mangala and they failed miserably at it.🤢
Anandi and her teacherji had mother daughter kind of relationship despite not biologically related but here Anandi Nandini were mother and daughter who were separated by cruel circumstances. How would people accept Anandi's role in N's life just like teacherji's role in Anandi's life?
Anyways I am glad that their attempt at recreating little Anandi through N did not work😈Had it worked it wouldn't have mattered who played grown up N and the show would have gone on.

I was blown away by the striking resemblance between T and Avika. Now watching little A all over again I realise that T's potrayal of A was so similar to little A.All the three did a great job but T's and Avika's potrayal fit in like two halves of a whole. While the middle one though was good towards the latter half it didn't really fit in with the other two portrayals.
It makes me feel so bad for T for all that she had to face just because she came in as a replacement. It's not like she pushed away someone and took that person's place. She stepped into a place which was already empty.

One more thing after seeing how unsuitable replacement lead to abrupt ending of the shows in recent months it is very clear that replacements can work very well and do not affect the shows if the story and performances are good enough.
After all in Indian Television fiction space it is the leading lady that matters more than the male lead.
It doesn't matter how hot the male lead is if the actress chosen to play FL proves to be a wrong choice then nothing can make the show go on.
