EXCLUSIVE: SRK was always the first choice for Koffee With Karan's first episode!

Rumours have been rife about who the first guest would be on Karan Johar's highly anticipated talk show Koffee With Karan. It was also speculated that Fawad Khan would be the first guest on KWK.

But when we contacted a source close to the show, he stated that it is not Fawad, but Karan's best friend and actor Shah Rukh Khan, who will be gracing the first episode. He was always Karan's first choice. Since Alia Bhatt and SRK's movie Dear Zindagi is slated to release in November, the actress will be joining the actor for Karan's show.

The source added that Fawad was not available in October anyways as his wife Sadaf is due in October.

Guess that puts all rumours to rest! Are you excited to see SRK back on Karan's couch?

Koffee With Karan season 5 will air from November 6, 2016.
